David haye's fake win over ATG Nikolai Valuev

Haye won clearly that fight. Of course he was cautious and did not want to brawl with this monster. It would have been stupid.
Btw I also think that Holyfield won his fight vs Valuev as clearly as Haye did.

Was a poor fight but Haye won the majority of rounds.

He would come into range, ambush Valuev and land a few times and then run out of range. He repeated that all night, and Valuev barely laid a clean shot on him.

Haye wanted to try a similar tactic on Wlad but he could not even get in range without being hit, so instead he just ran and threw nothing whatsoever. In the Wlad fight, the question being asked was why did Wlad not do more to get a KO. But as he was finding it so easy to win the rounds there was no point leaving himself open

 

It was of course fixed for the new british HW cash cow; but it almost backfired when Haye broke his hand before the bout.

Farcial "win" for Haye.

 

Haye won easily. One of the easiest victories of his career. Anyone who genuinely thinks otherwise should stop watching boxing.

I don't think a lot of people realize that Sugar Nico Valuev used to actually intentionally fight at 50% of his capability in fear of killing his opponents. That, and he broke his back before the fight (the injury was spinal).
