British public was fooled a few times by Haye. Not anymore though. No TV station would show his fights anymore.
Sky dropped him after the poor performance in the Wlad fight The Chisora fight was on boxnation He only got back on sky because he was going to fight Tyson Fury After all that I doubt they are willing to take a risk and waste promotional money on him again
I think he has a chance against Joshua because of the speed Haye can muster and he is hard to hit. Joshua has big power but is a stiff flatfoot that could be ambushed.
He was not dropped by sky that's not true. After The Wlad fight he just went off into party mode. The Chisora fight was on BN because it was a Warreen show. I think he was going to fight Charr on sky sports before he pulled out of that. if Hearn told sky that there is a chance of AJ v Haye PPV say next summer they will be all over it don't worry about that. It's all hypothetical anyway as Haye will never fight again.
I completely agree mate. Not only did he let Fury down after a long camp but so many fans who made arangements, booked time off work, foled out on hotel bills etc. I hate to critisize a fighter but when your at that stage of your career you have to think about who you're letting down.
SKY would 100% put a David Haye fight on, in fact if there was a chance he was coming back I reckon they would insist on it, Hearn already said when he was trying to pack the Bellew vs Cleverly card he tried hard to get Haye to be on it. casuals love Haye, like Haye or not he would get quite a few tuning in even if it is just to see him get beat
He gave an interview with Kugan on IFL maybe a couple months ago where he confirmed his intention to return. Since then all I've heard his Kugan asking Hearn during an interview if he'd heard from Haye and Eddie said he offered him a spot on the May 30 undercard but Haye told him it was too soon. I have no idea what the delay is. And anyone who thinks Sky wouldn't broadcast a Haye return is missing a trick. Of course they would. To hype up a potential Wembley PPV showdown with Joshua down the line. That would do massive numbers. Casuals love Haye and casuals love Joshua. Believe me that would be one of the biggest UK fights in history and IMO would smash the Froch-Groves II PPV numbers. Groves's and Froch's public profile pales in comparison to those of AJ and Haye. The fight would be massive, of course Sky would tolerate the risk of the fight collapsing. Haye and AJ are all about the money so I'm sure they'd have no problem making that fight. And for what it's worth I think Haye smashes Joshua (so long as he still carries 90% of his speed and power). Joshua type fighters are tailor made for Haye's sniper style. It's an easy win IMO. Prime Haye takes Joshua's head clean off its shoulders.
