I just re-watched Wlad v Haye, David took some real good shots off Dr Steel-hammer. I think his chin is underrated. This content is protected Haye rolled off the shot at the end but he still took the full brunt force of it. This content is protected Flush right Haye shakes off like a G. This content is protected The same Steelhammer right hand that Knock Tha **** Outta Ray Austin. Is Haye didn't run and fall to his knees almost every time Wlad launched his attacked, he would have been KTFO. no doubt about it.
Wladimir would have been knocked out if he attempted to KO Haye. Let's not go crazy here. We all know Wladimir is better and an ATG, but let's not pretend he got a Marvin Hagler chin. If Wlad goes into offensive mode, he will get knocked out. Hence the game plan.
i dont think haye is confident in his own chin and is scared to throw. he should be more confident. the proof is in the pudding here. he could of countered wlad with a sweet left hook in the first vid. If he would of let his hands go combined with the slick defense he showed in that fight , it would of been more competitive.
Single punches means nothing; and he obviously have been light stunned several times, and that is why Haye didn't risk to be more offensive; plus, often when Waldo send him to the ropes, ready to unload his arsenal, Haye, that is a smartass, dropped down; Manny Steward, that is a trickmaster, after one of these drops became mad and told it to the referee, that counted Haye one time just because of these safe-droppings; and to make comparisons with other k.o. punches means really nothing, because if a boxer has been cooked enough, ha can go down just for a jab; the same boxer that could resist to a full right straight, if cold. Ah, and about Adamek's chin: it is obviously stronger than the Haye's one, he take a lot of punishment in every one of his matches, and in the VK's fight, a mismatch but wanted by the brave Adamek, he took so many of clear punches... way more than the total amount that haye took in 12 rounds.
Haye has a good chin, Wlad landed some of his signature punches on Haye's chin and Haye was not even wobbled. But when Haye landed his big right in the 12 Wlad felt he had to hold on and hold on hard. I think Wlad's power is overrated though, if it is as good as everybody thinks then Haye has a granite chin
Haye is slick and black and I rate him, but the way he disappointed in the Wlad fight is gonna be very hard to make up for and I doubt he can without beating Wlad (not gonna happen) Also Adamek got wobbled by a jab so that's enough about that
he rolled with the punch but took the full force of it...hmmmm i also jumped over a leg sweep but still managed to get caught by it..hmmmm
