No one can say "without a doubt" it is all down to opinions but it would of been a very good fight whilst it lasted.

For a short time though, Bowe was a very serious HW.

When people talk about nervous energy, this is one of the fights I think of.

It was practically pouring off Herbie. Bug-eyed and wild.

He was knackered so quickly though. If he could have had more in the tank then he would have had a much better chance.

That's nervous energy for you, Herbie burnt it all off double-quick.
Even when he won the first two rounds he looked like he was suffering a heart attack doing it.

Just wayyyy too tense, way too wound up. Big-time occasion and big-time opponent, that's an awful lot of eyes on you and Herbie went bananas.

Haye is Taylor made for Bowe

Bowe would win quicker than he did against Hide

Bowe by brutal KO in or around the 5th round.

I don't see Haye lasting the distance in this one. Riddick would be too big and skillful for David.
No doubt Haye could give this or any version of Bowe problems with his speed and quick counter-punching. It's even forseeable that Haye might have him on the canvas (similar to Bowe/Holyfield 3) at some point. But eventually Riddick's ability to land telling punches would prove to be too much for 'The Hayemaker'.

Bowe of the Herbie fight would get beaten by Haye imo, tko mid to late.

Bowe of the Holyfield I fight would knock Haye out more than likely.

Are the same people picking Bowe here also backing Haye against Wlad? Or is it you just think Wlad has no chin, unlike Bowe? Personally I think he'd do better than Hide, but question marks remain as to his stamina over 12 hard rounds.

That's the understatement of the century.

There aren't many HW's I'd back to go the full 12 against that version of Riddick Bowe. No more than a dozen.

No, I've got Wlad beating Haye by stoppage in the mid-rounds.

Even a slightly faded Bowe would have far too much in his locker for an unproven heavyweight like Haye. He's not got the stamina, chin or defence to survive against Riddick.

Look at Ruiz and Mormeck, two old-ass, basically shot fighters with zero footwork repeatedly landed jabs and right hands on Haye. When Bowe does that, and he will..... game over.
