David cant make 160? He's in trouble if he plans on campaigning at 168. He's not big enough to trade with big punchers at that weight

Also, Lemieux just turned 21 a few weeks ago. At that age, you're pretty much still a prospect no matter how many fights you've fought.

You seriously think Jacobs or Lee's teams would put them in the same ring as Lemieux (and vice-versa)? That's not how prospects are managed.

He can't make 160lbs for this fight. Started cutting weight too late because of traveling. He'll be back at 160lbs for his next fight.

I bet he really took some exotic vacations. Europe, or maybe South American sightseeing and sunning. Plenty of nice meals in restaurants I'd bet on that

Thanks, Maxime. That's quite surprising, but that's somewhat a good thing because he'll probably be even stronger. :good

But boxing should be like this, young, undefeated, or highly regarded prospects going at it could give much better fights, something like Edouard vs Gibbs. Or they should try to match him with old gatekeepers/Journeman like Eastman, Jantuah or even Zertuche.

2010 will be a learning years for Lemieux! he will take on Canadian boxing scene this years! Naugler his just a first step. he will probably fight Smichet beforer the end of the year and theres a good chance that he does much more better then Duddy!

Anyway David still a 21 years old prospect and he will need to wait another 1-2 years before knocking on the top 10 middle door!

He got a hell of a team and people believe in him! i think he will replace Pascal and Bute when they leave the sport! Watch for him because he will be a great thing in boxing , the guy can bang and got an exinting style! good guy for boxing!

He should fight Renan StJuste instead of Smichet...I like Smichet but he is done...StJuste would be a great test for Lemieux...
