I am so on this train. David is a monster.

 

been avidly watching him the first time he popped up on US TV. Anytime he catches airtime on ESPN, FSN, HBO, SHO im on it. He's fun to watch and he's got MEGA-POP in his left hook & right straight. He seems very susceptible to counter-punching, he needs to tighten up his defense as he's making his move to A Level fighters. This next fight will be a good measuring stick whether he's ready to step up from B Level fighters to champion level...

 

WAR Lemieux! I have nothing against Rubio but this kid's the future, I hope he beats him decisively!

 

errr..... JCC jr's promoter not yet ready to expose him for what they built him up to be...

they're gonna hold their cards till he finally gets a strong PPV fight they can get a big money bank off of before he gets exposed and FLAILS on TV vs A Talent....

 

David Lemieux is the real deal. He will easily defeat Rubio, I believe. I'm a fan, that's for sure.

 

25 wins & 24 KO's
so far.... his ONLY non-KO fight, he actually went the rounds to prove he can go 10 rounds, and not appear to be a frontrunner.

He picked up his 20 straight KO's first. On his 21st fight, he went 10 rounds. Watched it, and he actually laid off the fighter a few times when his punches got the fighter in trouble... he could have picked up a KO a few times in that fight if he was looking for one...

i would equate his last 3 opponents in the B level. MAR should be equated to a champion gatekeeper and a B+ opponent. Would love to see an impressive midround KO for him. MAR hasnt been stopped/KO'd since 04.

 

Well, he stopped himself in 09.

I wouldn't say he is VERY susceptible to counterpunching. True that he sometimes drop an hand when he throws the other and that he sometimes stays in front of you even though he doesn't have to, but then again he cuts the ring very well and can counterpunch as well.

 

Now that Giovanni Lorenzo sent N'Jikam to the floor in the fifth stanza, I give more chances to Lemieux in a fight with the Frenchman.

 

Lee would get kill by Lemieux but I like the fight against Khurtsidze who can take a punch. He took N'Jikam to the limit.

 

Lemieux would knock Lee out alright, but it'd be a good fight to make I think. He's got a good chin so he'd stick in there for a while, David would learn a bit and it'd be a relatively big name on his resume.

 

Lee has a good cheen. His D is ****, though.
