When exactly do you think Rubio's jab and straight right got Mr Anber thinking in camp? Rubio will get countered and blocked often by David, and when Lemieux outlands somebody that person goes down. Yes. :thumbsup

Just saying, Rubio is easily the most skilled and hardest hitting opponent Lemieux has ever faced. I hope he comes through it, but it'd be interesting to see him take one or two big shots, just to see how he reacts.

Oh yeah for sure. Hoping he takes more than just 1 or 2 bombs, this should be a real war at times. :D

    Left hook!!!!!! :happy

    Fightnews...

“I have trained hard,” said Rubio. “I need this victory. It’s a difficult fight but I consider myself to be a good boxer with enough quality to get the victory.”

Can you imagine if Lemieux KO1 Rubio? I wonder if Rubio would talk 'quality' at the post-fight presser.

I've only seen a couple of rounds of this guy, but I don't think he's that great. He's obviously aggressive, but IMO he don't have the power of a prime Kelly Pavlik. I remember when everybody was saying what a great KO artist Miranda was, but when he fought Pavlik, we saw who had the superior power. Rubio's got some decent skills, but he looks too intimidated by the situation to get anything done in this fight. I'd like to see Lemieux fight Brian Vera this year, Vera will bring it.

He's not THAT agressive and he punches a lot harder than Pavlik for sure. Pavlik is not even a one-punch KO artist.
