I think OP is being sarcastic and mocking GGG. He's a lame hater, this is obviously a passive aggressive stab at the guy and his fanbase. Agreed though. DL is a bit of a glass cannon(more of a mental midget than chin) who shuts down if he can't bully you from the opening bell and/or put you out early. While limited I think he has a punchers chance against most guys in the division. Would love to see him in with Lee or Stevens.

 

Oh, definitely, I realize that. He might accidentally be correct, though. A complacent Lemieux is usually a shitty Lemieux. He is on record saying he isn't looking past Rios, but let's be honest - in all likelihood the lad IS looking past Rios.

only fanboys would say something like that,I actually think Canelo will get nothing but respect for facing someone his own size at 160,it's the catchweight bollocks that bug folk,if he dips his toes into the water at 158 for one fight then fair enough but it's not sounding like that,I don't care who he fights as long they are seen as tune ups for Golovkin next fall as Canelo has the best chance of em all against him.

 

Lemieux is garbage. Saying anything he does as a reign of terror is hyperbole at best. I suppose he might get another payday just from being a ggg conquest. Next time he steps up again he gets KO'd guaranteed.

 

Lemieux wants an other go at GGG... He thinks he can do better next time. Lemieux is 27, so few more years at the top in the MW. Lemieux was put down by a body punch against GGG. GGG used the jab and never really engage much in the fight, except in the last round.

At 22, after dominating the first six rounds, he gassed, and his corner stop the fight before anything bad happened to him in the Rubio fight.
In his next fight, he fought a competitive (split decision which I thought Lemieux won after watching it the second time, but not the first time) against an hungry former champion who came to fight that night.
When many boxers are ducking GGG, Lemieux wants to go back in there. Respect where respect is due.

GBP signed Lemieux to save Canelo from GGG. Lemieux was sign to do the dirty job, since, GBP doesn't care about Lemieux.

Saturday's fight is garbage though.

You have to admit, Lemieux has huge power, no doubt about it. Golovkin boxed against him, took his time and finally stopped him, but Golovkin used his defense and jab a lot.................Lemieux would probably knock the feathers out of El Pollo..............
