wow...genius you are...."the only reason the op made this thread is not because of lemieux"....i mean...how on earth....its like you solved some complex equation on a blackboard at harvard....even though ive said in this thread why i made it you still somehow managed to come up with the correct answer...astonishing

maybe if hbo didnt keep paying for bumfights of golovkin with no payoff...theyd have a few more bucks

also...stevens is not very good....it would have been an entertaining fight for sure....but stevens isnt good...lemieux prob works him

Please don't mention Ward and Lemieux in the same sentence again.

Your irrational hatred of David is as bad as mine against Cotto and AJ.

    David just won 100-90 100-90 99-91.:D

But as I kind of expected it went the distance.

    Hurrah! Lemieux beat a can!

That means he's on the level of most of the "champions" nowadays.

Nah Rios is a good fighter, most of his losses are SD or damn close, he even handed Heiland one of his draws, he's not all that skilled but he's durable as hell. He's a tough as nails Argentine who's great for people to get rounds in with. Better than a Salka or Sammy Vargas probably around Marco Antonio Rubio without the punch level.

I'm being facetious. And also not, because some of the champs around really do dredge the bottom of lakes to find the next stiff to fight.

I kinda thought you were, and yeah no doubt. I had a lightbulb go off, its a pity Rios fought David tonight instead of Ogogo, he could have had a quasi-legit name to put under his belt. Had his Macklin-Heiland moment.

He can continue his reign all he wants, but when he steps up to fight Canelo presumably next May, he'll lose and it will be "GGG took his Prime!"...:deal:

It will be at 160, when it happens.

I don't think GBP will risk Canelo going in the same ring as Lemieux... That fight won't happen.

But still pointless Golovkin is the man with the 3 belts @160 not Lemieux

Canelo has to fulfill his 1 fight at the 160 pound limit before fighting GGG in september. Lemieux is a great candidate.

Why not? Lemieux really isn't that good, and though he might be bigger than Canelo, he's definitely not the better fighter. Canelo will beat Lemieux, SIG IT!!

You better hope like hell Canelo has a chin as good as Rios, because he took a horrifically brutal beating.:smash2: And I don't think he does.
