I'm not worried about that. You better hope Lemieux is as good as you claim, cause Canelo is no Rios, or Rubio or Alcine. Lol

You're right he's not a tall full fledged Middleweight with an amazing chin. Alcine was just a freakish anomaly, hey J-Rock stopped Hernandez, but Angulo couldn't and J-Rock couldn't stop Alcine but Angulo could, weird **** happens sometimes.

I don't want to hear anything in the future about you claiming Canelo is a full fledged MW after this statement here. And you already know how I feel about triangle theories, I don't believe in them because all fights are different, but when you look at the facts, Lemieux hasn't really lived up to his expectations. Just give Canelo credit when he beats him. None of that "I thought Canelo would beat him.... But!.." stuff.

Don't you want to see Canelo vs Golovkin in Canelo's first fight at 160? Wouldn't Canelo fighting Golovkin in his first bout at Middleweight (as a 154-lb titlest) add to the magnitude of Canelo vs Golovkin? I don't see why Canelo should fight someone at 160 for a non-title fight before fighting Golovkin. He has a title to defend at 154 now, who wants to see Canelo vs Lemieux? What does beating DL do for Canelo? Since Jacobs doesn't want to be fighting Golovkin, how about Golovkin vs Lemieux II? DL fought the wrong fight the first time, he could give GG problems in a rematch.

On a related note, does anyone want to see Canelo rematch Liam Smith in the UK? I'd personally rather see Canelo Smith 2 in the U.K. than Canelo Cotto 2. Liam Smith produced a more entertaining an fan friendly fight with Canelo than Cotto did.

If Liam Smith fought on his home turf with a better training camp he may have a better chance vs Canelo. I think the cut affected Smith and with enough time to heal the cut he could come into a rematch with being able to spar and fight more competitively vs Canelo. If it's not in the UK, then Canelo should probably fight someone not named Cotto at 154 to defend his title until moving up to 160 to fight Golovkin.

I want to see what he looks like at 160 first. He's supposed to be fighting at least one fight at the full limit of 160 before fighting GGG, and Lemieux is the perfect opponent that can realistically be made.

Well you did think velez would beat Rios and pursued me to pick Martin over Joshua when I picked Joshua to win, not to mention persuaded me to change my pick from Bellew to Makabu... I should always stick to my picks instead of changing them. Lol... constantly Changing Isn't A Good look.

But why? Lemieux already got stopped by Golovkin, so if Canelo beats Lemieux, then Canelo just beat a guy who Golovkin already KO'd.

The whole "testing the waters at 160" before fighting Golovkin is a ridiculous argument, especially vs a guy in Lemiuex that can punch. It's poor matchmaking to say lets put Canelo in there vs probably the biggest puncher at 160 besides Golovkin to "test the division". Canelo can beat Lemiuex, but he might have to go through a war to do that. And he already has an injured hand from the Smith bout to where he isn't scheduled to fight in December like he was supposed to before the Smith bout.

Let Golovkin duke it out vs David Lemiuex in a rematch. If he's not going to defend his title at 154, then he should fight Golovkin as his next fight for Golovkin's Middleweight titles. It's unfortunate that Golovkin vs Jacobs can't be made, because if Golovkin won that, then Canelo vs Golovkin could be for a full MW unification.

Well in my defense Martin hadn't been KO'd brutally twice like Tapia and stopped by frigging Castellanos like Ronny.:D

As far as Makabu goes, NO ONE saw that coming, even Pinoy picked Bellew by SD.

Also in your defense, Martin is the worst HW titlist I've ever seen. And how did that Velez fight work out for you again? Lol..
I also picked Bellew, but like I said, you persuaded me to pick against him. Next time, I go with my gut. Lol
