Both have monster left hooks, both have sturdy but crackable chins, similar seek and destroy aggressive fighting styles, Who wins?

Lemieux better boxer, harder hitter. Stevens physically tougher. I say Lemieux by ko, but if Curtis lands first I don't have great confidence in David's resilience.
Lemieux has Julian Jackson type power, truly awesome power. His delivery system isn't always the best and his resilience is questionable.

    Lemieux has improved tremendously.
But he needs to prepare himself for Stevens' o possum tactics, as he showed in the GGG fight, playing dead on the ropes then explosing with sudden counters.

Pains me to say this as one of Lemieux's biggest fans on this board, but Stevens stops David before the 10th. Until I see Lemieux being effective vs a fighter who shells up AND packs as much heat as Rubio, Stevens, Quillin, I'm not raising the bar. David has improved tremendously, but there's still work to do.

Whoever lands the first solid shot on the other guy's glass jaw. My guess is it's Lemieux.

What a great match up and it's one the fans would love to see-and that's why it won't happen.Rarely do we get to see what we really want in terms of matchmaking top fighters facing each other.:-(

     :rofl

No he doesn't. Anybody can look like they have "Julian Jackson" type power against tomato cans.

Fact is, he couldn't put a dent in Rubio (a fighter Pavlik stopped without issue) or Alifobio.

To have "Julian Jackson" type power you have to prove it against "Julian Jackson" type opponents.

Lemieux is a nobody. His power is overrated. He's failed whenever he's stepped up.

True power punchers, Tito Trinidad, Thomas Hearns, and the REAL Julian Jackson showcase their power against solid opponents. Lemiuex has failed utterly in this regard.

With that said, Curtis Stevens hits much harder than Lemiux and his record proves it against better opposition (including super middleweights). And Curtis Stevens has the better chin. He took round after round of punishment from GGG from the get go, while Leimux fell as soon as he let his defense lapse.

This will be a first round KO for Stevens.

Stevens beats lemieux by KO.I believe stevens can take lemieux's best shot I don't think lemieux can take stevens best shot.stevens is a pretty good finisher when he has his opponents hurt.

Both are exciting fighters and this is a fight I would not mind seeing .

The judges don't have to bother to show up for this one....

    Rooting for Lemieux .

i think Lemieux got a better chin than it seems...he was very tired against rubio and everybody will get hurt if they gas out....Lemieux just need to run like hell to be able to maintain his style for 12 rounds and hes pretty much invincible
