Lemmy takes it for me but this could potentially be a really awesome fight. Glad it's made.

Fat Dan was moaning that it's at the top of a card. Don't see a problem with thta myself, not every card can be a world title fight.

The complaining doesn't make sense. The average fan doesn't need every fight to be for a title. What it boils down to is, "did I get my money's worth?" and/or "did me and my buddies have fun watching it?". Lemieux-Stevens is a pretty safe bet to deliver on that.

60-40 Lemieux for me, but I'm not touching this with a 10 foot pole with real cash. Stevens has legit 1 punch power and the patience to place it properly...David's movement has to be on point for this one.

    Yes
Yes. A good match up. But I think that Lemieux throws way too many punches for Stevens to handle. And they all hurt. Stevens may be using his time just to avoid and may not be able to counter. Stevens waits too much. And if he is waiting. He is catching.

The reason why you think Curtis is gonna lose is why I think he'll win.
Curtis' entire style is that he's a catch and counter guy.
And his hands are (just a tad faster) than David's. I can see
both getting knocked silly but I think Curtis is more durable and
can take what David gives longer than David can take what he
    gives.

Very fan friendly fight, this fight has been mentioned for a
while as both styles should mesh perfectly.

"I won't believe this until they are both in the ring". Well it's signed sealed and being delivered Baldy, so, so much for your stupid rants, huh?

Stevens is a good fighter, hits very hard and is fast, but Lemieux punches harder, if he lands the big punch it's lights out for Stevens...............

I think I might make the trip from Montreal. Dont really care who wins this one, I just wanna see these two in a war. I've been at Turning Stone for Mathysse vs Provodnikov and it was amazing. Small venue, great seats and even greater prices. This is gonna be a treat.

The complaining makes sense in the sense that you have an unwarranted PPV the following week with a poor undercard.

Having this fight on it would have made it a very solid card for PPV money.

HBO have lost all credibility. They should get out of boxing as they are unwilling to spend a dime on it anymore.

The only reason the Oscar Valdez card is on Top Rank PPV is because HBO rejected to air all the fights.
