Lemieux is just so one dimensional... I've always thought his career would flop relative to the hype he was getting going into the Rubio bout a few years back. And then he got beaten by Joachine Alcine. That's not good for someone who was supposed to make more than just little waves in the division. People always fall in love with and overrate the power. Rosado takes this.
BB: You are currently rated second in the WBC middleweight rankings and fifth in the IBF. What’s on the horizon in your boxing career? DL: There’s nothing signed yet but I’m only a few steps away from a world title. (...) BB: You tasted defeat for the first time in 2011 against Marco Antonio Rubio. What adjustments have you made since then? And how do you think Rubio will fair against Gennady “GGG” Golovkin in their upcoming middleweight title fight? DL: Since Rubio, I changed everything in my career and some stuff in my life, all making me a better man today. Now, I’m ready to be the new champion this sports needs and I believe the role model youth will be inspired by, demonstrating proper values, and the face of a true leader. I see Golovkin winning this fight because he is the better fighter, but Rubio is strong and very tough, so it will be up to who wants it more to be victorious. (...) BB: What opponent to date, do you feel was your toughest and why? DL: Well, I’d say Rubio was my toughest opponent but that was then, and now I’m a whole different fighter. I wouldn’t make the same mistake twice. http://ringsidereport.com/?p=46274
Didn't Rosado lose to Guerrero? I seem to recall that... no triangle theories here, but Rosado is no fukkin master boxer that's for sure. Also speaks to Quillin's boxing (in)ability.
he must have some skill. he was owning rubio, until he ran out of gas. i see lemieux as the wlad of the middleweights.
Solid fight. Will tell alot about where Lemieux is at. I hope Rosado gets a HUGE payday. I wonder if anyone has fought as tough a string of fights as he.
