LOL... Quillin will go nowhere NEAR Lemieux, and Taylor is going to jail for the next quarter of a century.

Golovkin will hopefully fight winner of Cotto/Canelo, whenever that fight gets made. If he beats the winner of Korobov/Lee, the winner of Cotto/Canelo can duck Triple G because he won't be the contender for that belt if he were to win a fight for another title

reminds me of the idiom 'even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while'. :D at least i've recovered from the beating martinez-cotto put on me.

WBC has recently changed their policies on that I thought. They already have the mandate from WBC to fight the winner of Cotto/Canelo, but since those guys fight maybe once or twice a year i'd expect to see GGG in the ring again after Murray and before fighting Cotto/Canelo.

Maybe though that's why HBO decided to put DL on, if I heard right he was WBC #2. After winning Iterim, and since Murray is #1 WBC and Silver belt holder I think... and seeing that GGG is also popular with Mexican fans... it would be almost impossible for even WBC to not force the fight if GGG beat the WBC Interim, then WBC #1, then WBC #2 in succession.

Fight would likely be at full 160 as well... GGG would hold most of the cards, bigger star or not. Just let it goto purse bid.

So... maybe we will get GGG/DL after all.

Good win. DL needs another 1-2 before GGG though, otherwise people wont give GGG credit. Maybe avenge Rubio loss.

Rubio stock plummeted after his shellacking and lackluster effort vs GGG.

Put DL in with another guy who is coming off a TV win like HNN or Jacobs or Korobov/Lee winner. Generate a little bit of fan interest.

Rubio doesn't deserve that big a fight after laying down against Golovin. Lemieux is past him and needs new blood.

Lemieux should fight Billy Joe Saunders, or Korabov/Lee winner. Then winner gets Triple G.

Lemieux needs a better inside game. His short hand made him miss a lot. Maybe Rosado has a good footwork but jease did DL swang and missed.
