    David is a gentle soul, really. He keeps a diary of his feelings after every knockout. Lampley read his journal, the other day, the still dampened sheets entwined about him like a toga while Lemieux was in the shower cleansing his eromenos vessel. Jim had never read a passage about the left hook until recently; now suddenly there is page after page of left hook this, unicorn drawing, left hook that, new Mohawk gel recommendation scrawled in the margin, left hook blah blah, shopping list, left hook... He is excited that David is now "opening up". ;)
