Who is the biggest puncher you have ever sparred IB and is it Spike? You did say you have sparred him previously haven't you?

I like this fight and think Lemieux should be a decent favourite, however 110% will be behind Spike for the win

Billy Joe has underrated power, he hits plenty hard enough he just prefers a safety 1st approach.

I have no doubt he would have stopped Lemieux if he really wanted to, he never came close to stopping Spike (although he did burst his ear drum)

Great fight. Makes a lot of sense. Spike has a good chance here tbh. He looked great vs Douglas, really sharp. The way he schooled and stopped Douglas was impressive although Douglas is overrated but still it was a great performance.

Exactly, Rosado is defensively responsible, good ring IQ, knows when to punch and when not to.

Also It’s very hard to get through Rosado’s guard. Douglas has a leaky defense and terrible survival skills.

When Douglas gets hurt he stands stiff and upright like a damn bowling pin

Spike is tougher which I think will play a part in this fight. I think he wins by TKO, probably rounds 6-8.

May end up with egg on my face, but I'm fairly certain this bout won't be happening.

Spike has already confirmed that he's headlining a show in Vegas on Friday May 4th.

I think either guy has a good chance of stopping the other. The one bet I will make is that the fight ends under 9.5 rounds

I can confirm spike is training at the moment - i saw him doing hill runs about a week ago. Should've stopped and asked him but was in a hurry.....

An old school war! Who cares if its not for a belt? The winner is the fans, but I like like
Lemieux on points, with Sullivan just having enough to last the distance in a 8-4 type of fight.

You could be right... my reasoning was that it was rumored to be in talks all month long during February and then just this past week Spike made some cryptic post about heading into camp for the "biggest fight" of his career. So it may be that I jumped the gun, but all signs did certainly point to unofficial confirmation of the Lemieux fight. :nusenuse:

This is the latest from Spike from the start of the month. Open to Lemieux but far from definite.

Golden Boy obviously want to line up opponents for Canelo and I don't think they'd pit Spike and Lemieux together and effectively eliminate one.

I think Stevens is tougher and hits harder than spike, going for lemmy by KO.

Yeah, my train of thought as well, though some of our best regulars disagree. Maybe the median will end up being a competitive, close fight with multiple guys getting hurt before someone goes down? Certainly has all the attributes of a give and take scrap.
