Pirog is somewhat overrated. Dont get me wrong he's no joke, but quite honestly.... Lemeuix woulda destroyed that fraud Jacobs as well.

I see Lemeuix vs Pirog as a pick em, RIGHT NOW.

In about a year, I'm pretty sure Lemeuix would beat him.

As long as Lemeuix has a good head on his shoulders, and can take a good punch, I see no reason why he cant rule 160 within a year.

    And don't forget

Lemieux has Russ Amber as a coach:

A defensive coach i shoud say who was the coach of Otis Grant so it's not bad for David.

His assistant coach is Marc Ramsay: The coach of Jean Pascal....

so Lemieux has a very good team around him.

He is a good looking guy with a great style fo the boxing fans around the world and i think that he will be very popular soon

No it hasn't...it's just Charlie Brown has come in here with his low IQ, talking ****.

Remember, you wouldn't last 5 minutes in his neighborhood.

I'm not sure about the quality of his next opponent since he his suppose to fight on December 3 , finding a good opponent will be hard with only one more left before that fight!

From what I heard Lemieux might be fighting Kasim Ouma next.

Lemieux would shatter Jacob's Glass Jaw. It's irrefutable. Jacobs has been exposed as a Golden Girl mirage.

His power is murderous. The amount of power he generates in those short punches is outrageous.

He'll probably knock Ouma out of the ring and unconscious for the first time in his career with a lucky punch.

Lemieux is not the second coming or anything but there is a whole lot more to believe in than most hyped prospects.

Anyone want to wind it back to the beginning of this thread? Check the hate.

I wonder what Teddy Atlas will have to say. Before the Ayala fight he expressed his doubts about Lemieux and said he needed to see something special to change his mind. Less than a round later, with Ayala on the floor Teddy still had exactly the same kind of bitching.

Did Lemieux make happy pants with the wives of half the boxing world? What with the hatin'?

That is a BULL**** fight..... I will lose respect for team Lemieux if push for this fight. No reason at ALL to make that fight. And team Ouma better not take it eather.

If they were planning on only fighting twice a year you'd be entirely right but truth is they have a planned bout for early December, which doesn't give much time to train, but most importantly find a credible opponent willing to risk fighting on such a short term notice for an ordinary pay...considering they won't make ($$) that much from the fight.

For a fight in a little over a month, I'm OK with Ouma. Lemieux's promoter is just keeping him active until they get a WBC eliminator fight in the first part of 2011.

Ouma is a good fight IMO. Ouma has a solid chin and arguably beat Martirosyan earlier this year.
