DLR needs to learn to box for 10-12 rounds he doesn't know how to pace himself. When he fights behind a jab, he usually does good, especially against shorter opponents. Obviously Lemieux can take a punch and can finish it with one, DLR will have to fight the fight of his life and have a perfect fight just to go the distance. Lemieux will want to use Dlr as a ko highlight reel to send a message to the rest of the middleweights he's still a player at 160. Other than GGG and possibly Canelo, Lemieux can beat just about anyone else. A Lemieux vs Lara fight would be interesting in the future.

This might be a 10-rounder. No reason not to be.

That's a good fight, both are fringe contenders, I lean toward Lemieux, but he really looked like a complete novice against Golovkin.

I think DLR is just too easy to hit.

Why? Because you don't find either of them physically attractive like you do Wilder and Mayweather?

Wilder fought a CW soccer fan and you acted like he KO'ed a Prime Tyson.

This is a fight between two fighters on the comeback trail. One (Lemieux) lost to the P4P best.

I figure De La Rosa can be crafty and outhustle Lemieux.
IMO it all comes down to what Rosa has been doing this past year. Has he been in the gym, has he been trying to improve? Lemieux is a one trick pony; an average fighter with lots of power.

If Rosa comes in at his best, he will have plenty for Lemieux to handle if not even too much. But i figure Lemieux gets him out of there.

I can only see one outcome.....

    Lemieux by late stoppage.

Lemieux, seems to have sorted the stamina issues, and has something resembling a jab now, along with better patience.

DLR can certainly outbox Lemieux, but i don't see him having enough to discourage Lemieux, or be able to keep out of trouble for the whole fight.
