    Is Pryor featherfisted?

His corner should stop this, I don't like his body language

Pryor's trainer is threatening him with a stoppage. He says Aaron needs to show him something.

I'm not sure what he can show. Pryor probably isn't ever scoring a knockout on Stevenson (that one blemish against the lowly Boone notwithstanding :yep)

    Quite so, yes.

He is a very nice jab operator when he's allowed to be, and a bit tricky with his possum defense and difficult to stop...but he's no puncher and rarely even gets an opponent's respect with his pop - let alone hurts them..

It's actually par for the course for him when under fire.

I now think Stevenson will win a decision. :yep

Maybe with a couple more knockdowns.

    Round 7

Stevenson is coming forward with a high right jab, just pawing and not landing. Pryor moves back and misses jabs and right hands over Stevenson's back as the smaller man ducks in. Right jabs to the chest by Stevenson. Pryor pushes out with his left jab while backing nearly into a corner, then turns Stevenson by placing his palms on his shoulders and stepping around him. Pryor's eye is puffed up where he got hit with those right hands earlier. 1-2 to the body by Stevenson.

    Very slow round.

    10-9 Stevenson

    69-61 Stevenson

They're showing Joachim Alcine working the mitts backstage.

    He looks in GREAT shape.

Pryor has to get off first to have any kind of chance, I hate when fighters do the "wait...wait...wait" tactic, throw your jab keep this cat off you some.

Good round for Pryor, actually used his jab and threw some punches.

    Round 8

Stevenson jabs the body and fails to bring the left cross to bear. Pryor is maneuvering outside and working that jab in triples and doubles with a sprinkling of rights behind it. Pryor is landing well now, finding his range. It's a bit late for a comeback, but Aaron is trying for one in earnest. Big right hook up top by Stevenson cuts it short, and a hard left hand that pushes Pryor back but skids off his breastplate. High right jab by Stevenson, taking control of the ring. Pryor leans into him, and Stevenson holds and hits. Stevenson comes forward with his guard up high and pokes at the body of Pryor. Good right hand by Pryor. Stevenson gets in his chest and lands a BIG LEFT. Another. Pryor is hurt, but how bad?? He survives.

    10-9 Stevenson

    79-70 Stevenson
