David Lemieux vs. Joachim Alcine & Adonis Stevenson vs. Aaron Pryor Jr. RBR

Let the KO countdown begin!

 

Round 1

Alcine is strolling around on the outside, hunched over with his waist bent and swinging his left arm at his side. Lemieux isn't making any effort to come forward, just watching. Boos already. Fickle Canucks! Left jab lands for Alcine, and his follow up right to the body just grazes. Body jab by Lemieux. Alcine tries the same combo, jab up top and right to the body and is still not quite reaching. Lemieux misses a big right hand as Alcine ducks and then blocks the left hooks that follow. Alcine is now up against the ropes. Lemieux rips away with straight shots and uppercuts. Alcine is in a shell, absorbing everything. Lemieux is mostly getting blocked but is all over Alcine. Uppercuts galore!! Alcine breaks his guard as Lemieux steps back and beckons him back in, mouthing "Come on!!". Lemieux comes on, and lands uppercuts to the sides and front of Alcine - everywhere he isn't covered up.

Shiny black trunks (maybe velour) with some different coloring on them - pink and blue, mostly advert patches from the looks of it.

All that's gold is the "DL" lettering on his right thigh.

No maroon.

 

Round 2

Alcine hops around and jabs. Alcine is just playing around, throwing the jab without meaning and stepping lightly to his left. Lemieux comes forward with his guard high but loose, arms held a foot apart. 1-2 to the body by Lemieux. Alcine backs up, and just barely blocks a 1-2 to the face. Right to the body by Lemieux and Alcine is again pinned on the ropes, covering up and blocking shots. Lemieux strays low and the ref warns him for a right to the groin. Meanwhile Alcine is allowed off the ropes. Alcine circles to his left with his body hunched over to his right with his head pulled down below his left shoulder. Alcine is trying to be slick on the outside, but not throwing much Lemieux's way. Right hand at the bell by Alcine.

Round 3

Lemieux lands a jab to the body but Alcine is backing up and keeping his head clear off-center. Alcine is the one landing long jabs to the head, just tickling Lemieux with them but scoring. Lemieux ducks in and tries another body jab but Alcine pops him with the jab to the forehead and backs up calmly. Left hook catches Lemieux coming in but isn't very hard. Lemieux tries a right to the body but Alcine is turning him with quick steps. Body shot by Lemieux and the crowd goes wild. Alcine is jabbing well and sliding his rear foot back with just tiny steps in reverse from his lead left hoof to stay off Lemieux's attack zone. Another body shot by Lemieux gets a big disproportionate roar. Clinch.

Alcine won with his jab and limiting Lemieux to nothing.
