Sloppy action now, with Pryor backing out and throwing double and triple jabs and a few poking right hands over Stevenson's head while Stevenson slows his advance and just flurries when his feet get him all the way up near Pryor on the ropes. The result is lots of missing from afar and tangled clinches up close. Body types, height difference, styles, and orthodox vs. southpaw are all conspiring to make this very ugly. Stevenson is coming forward, and Pryor is circling slowly to his left keeping just enough distance to have Stevenson at the end of his jabs. Stevenson is ducking most of Pryor's jabs and rights or letting them alight harmlessly on his shoulders but isn't getting near enough to land his power. Body jab by Stevenson. BIG LEFT HAND LEAD TO THE CHIN BY STEVENSON!! ANOTHER!!! Pryor dances away. Stevenson body shot. BIG LEFT HAND LEAD!! PRYOR IS HELD UP BY THE ROPES!! SHOULD BE RULED A KNOCKDOWN!! WRIGHT DOES NOT CALL IT!

****, this whole Canadian card could be over before the Cotto-Margarito replay starts (let alone the live stuff on HBO).

Stevenson should finish this soon, and Lemieux could make quick 1-round work of Alcine. :think

Round 6

Left hand lead to the body by Stevenson. He tries one upstairs but Pryor is foxy, able to see it coming and fold himself in the middle to bear down on Stevenson in a leaning clinch from above. Left hand by Stevenson, and Pryor is rocked back but does his wobbling act for a moment before clearing the cobwebs as he always does and going into negative run-to-the-ropes-then-wait-and-tie-up mode. Stevenson comes in low and jabs up into the chest of Pryor. They cling together and trade body shots. Pryor is ****ed up by a left hand!! Another!! Pryor tries to slap his way free backing up. Stevenson marches up and throws a big right hook. Left hand to the back of the head. Marlon Wright peels Stevenson off Pryor in the corner. Pryor is pawing the back of his head, checking for blood. Stevenson is rushing in and getting tied up as Pryor leans back into the ropes and makes himself a big mess of knotted limbs, with his chin a difficult target to find.
