Yeah that's fukkin crazy. Guess old school Russ couldn't endure troublemaker David anymore.

Some guy on RDS was pointing out (in JL Legendre's blog) that David was fully up, hands up etc when Russ started waving the towel vs Rubio... and that David ran to his corner saying 'WTF!!!'... not sure I remember that.

Holy mother of fukkin kunt. I just watched this for the first time of my life... I was there live in the first row of red seats (not burgundy - red).

Anyone, and I mean ANYONE who can read the slightest body language knows this:

-Lemieux wasted 95% of his energy not listening to Anber through the first 6 rounds

    -Anber got pissed

-Anber gave sh1t to David between the 6th and 7th, and paused at the end, and used an upset tone

-Lemieux looked determined in the 7th, ok zero defense but sticking double jabs in Rubio's face

-Almost everything Rubio threw in the 7th connected, since David was attacking with his chin up, head right there to be hit

-David was upset with his corner's decision (see how he flicks his hand away from the cut man), more Russ' call than anyone's

-Rubio talks to David, and Lemieux looks ice cold furious... he was probably thinking to himself as an excuse, "I could have gone on fine"

-Lemieux briefly raises Rubio's hand after the announcement and pushes to get the fukk outta there quick

    ***********************

I must say, Russ stopped it because David's head snapped right back on a power shot (can't remember now, prolly a straight right).

So David needed to learn how to roll with punches, keep his chin down and have a god damn defense FFS.

...they're separating because... ...the fukk, David is still a b1tch to train?!?? Not engaged enough or what?!?

The kid's got so much potential, but that night -and oh, that song you hear at the very end of the video, 'Hello'- was borderline traumatic for a David believer like me.

Marc Ramsay (new trainer) was in his corner that night, and looked at David when on the verge of getting out of the ring like, 'sorry man'... Pascal and Lemieux are very different fighters, so I can't wait to see how Marc will work with David and if he's gonna be successful involving the kid in training fully.

    WAR :smoke Lemieux

Lemieux should be thanking Anber for stopping that fight. Rubio might've ruined Lemieux before he could become a star. Or at best, he could have gotten a Pyrrhic victory.

At least now, he can still aim to be a star. Though, that fight with Alcine is pure shiite. Neither would gain anything from it, especially for Alcine (who will probably go out on a stretcher).

Lemieux needs a decent boxer that will give him rounds.

    Ossie Duran
Kassim Ouma (maybe too dangerous for a come back fight)
Baldomir is now fighting at 160
Ishe Smith (probably too dangerous also)

    look at the 3:31
    and the 3:48 and 4:08
Theres a woman in pink sitting beside Yvon Michel, she raise, come to him during the beating and yell at him, Lemieux even turn his head to her during the count! I saw that when I rewatch the fight and I said to my brother: "omg, it's his mother yelling at him!" lol I'm sure he was just thinking "shut up mom, please"!

Its kind of sad for lemieux, he was well on his way to fighting sergio this year maybe for another title but the loss kind of put him back, it will take a while but hopefully he bounces back well and learns from the loss.
Compared to last year a lot of fans seem to have given up on the talent of lemieux because of the loss, there is way less talk.

Every Lemieux fans should be concerned right now. Like I've said earlier, talk is cheap. They said he didn't train properly before but now everything is fine, then Russ Anber leaves the team. I'm a fan of his and I'm concerned.

I'll also add that, for a guy who lost his last fight and is dedicated to training, he didn't look that lean on the last pictures I've seen of him. Gaining and losing weight is not the way to go, as seen with guys like Hopkins, Mayweather and Pacquiao. They're always in relatively good shape. A lot of people who gain and lose weight can't box 12 competitive rounds.

This is Alexandra Croft who works for GYM.

Anyhow, Lemieux better get serious with Ramsay because if it don't work, he might have to go outside of GYM ranks to find someone willing to train him.
