    I'm not going to make excuses, but we have to give Zamora credit for taking this fight on semi-short notice after his epic trilogy with Carlos Sandoval. :yep

    Alvarez is getting clipped with ineffective counters as he tries to snap his jab and and club with his right hand in the direction of Zamora's face. Alvarez is a bit crowded and only landing bluntly. Alvarez starts backing up and using his jab to set up combos and doing better. Zamora is tagged with some nasty uppercut/hook combos. Zamora is drooling. No, seriously. Drooling through his mouthpiece and dribbling down his chin, maybe a little blood in there. Zamora just looks uncomfortable in there, like he had sketchy Mexican for dinner last night. Alvarez keeps backing up and clubbing/flogging with his shots when crowded.

    What the hell? I saw it was on at eleven...dammit! ...Grahhhh!!! ...Also, what's so special about this that Krueger has had to kill so many people? Honestly, I mean, good FNF card, but this is not like a PPV event. Are there that many DL fans here? :blood

    That was a pretty nice combo Alvarez threw to get that first KD.

    Hope the guy will actually bother to get in "real" shape if he wants to get anywhere.

    Eleider "Storm" Alvarez improves to 4-0 (3). He looks alright...not a ton of upside but knows how to put punches together when he finally puts his mind to it.

    I guess he had over 200 amateur bouts with a very high winning record.

    He moved from Colombia to Montreal to pursue his pro boxing career but some setback kept him out of the ring for sixteen months (I missed what it was).

    I think they also said his mom recently passed.

    Good for him, picking up a win on national TV.
