Saul is going to grow into MW someday. If David is still boxing, this could be a good match. Who wins?

The word IF David is still boxing makes me laugh. An error at such a young age into a learning process isn't the end of the world. Just the IF makes it a shitty thread. I prefer not answer your poll.

I'm not a Lemieux hater, i just worded it badly. I'd love to see this matchup if both fighters are still fighting years from now.

dont see anything overwhlemingly special in lemieux. hope he retools though he does have hte potential but right now all he seems like is an aggressive power puncher who is one dimensional.

He looks one dimensional because he fell in love with his power. When he starts boxing, he is surprisingly good. He's short for a MW and isn't the fastest guy, but his punching power and good fundamentals makes him a dangerous fight for anybody, despite the Rubio loss.

He would obviously be better suited for LMW though.

Alvarez avoids Lemieux early onslaught and then stops him with a counter.

Rubio is an average fighter at best. Canelo can do anything Rubio can and more.

It seems alot of Lemieux fans are making Rubio out to be a rock hard beast when in reality he just put his mitts up and absorbed the punishment that way. It was pretty elementary and then he stopped him as soon as he landed flush.
Rubio is not rock chinned. I mean Pavlik scared him and had him running for his life.

I like Rubio he is from my hometown but he is not as good as Lemieux fans are making him out to be.

For now, Canelo TKO Lemieux. However, if he's learned and improve from the loss, the math up would be more interesting. So I'll wait to see his next 2-3 fights to make my opinion.

But from the Rubio fight, yeah Canelo by TKO, perhaps KO.

    Canada KO 2 Mexico!

Sadly not. Alvares beats him now, hopefully Lemieux is improving. I don't like Saul.

David Lemieux is nothing but a padded record fraud who was ruined by a B-level fighter.
