    Chats happening, for the spring.

Man, talk about your classic boxer versus puncher cookie-cutter archetypes.

Yeah, I heard rumblings about this too...I like Monroe Jr in this, personally....but Lemieux is a difficult guy to bet against with his equaliser power.

The question becomes, how much of Golovkin destroying Monroe in 6 was down to raw power and how much due to his technique (which needless to say is head & shoulders above Lemieux's) - to expand on that, how good or bad is Monroe's chin? We really have no clue. Short of GGG, the closest The Mongoose ever felt to Lemieux's power was Boone, followed by Adams or Vera.

I can see Monroe giving Lemieux absolute hell with his style and lefty stance (especially with a 4" reach and ½″ height advantage) but if all it takes is one bomb grazing his chin to shatter it... :think

Bad bad fight for the Worm at this point.

Talk about p iss poor mgmt.

Horrible, horrible fight to make in your first fight back after nearly a yr vs the probable #1 and #2 punchers in the division.:huh

How about a comeback fight vs the likes Macklin or Guerrero. Someone who he can beat the punch time and again and actually negate the R hand vs Mack with his speed and defense, and possibly crack the chin of fellow SP Guerrero. :huh

I thought he was fighting Curtins Stevens.

I think it'd take a slick defensive boxer i.e. BJS to outpoint him or a monstrous puncher i.e. Jacobs or one of the up and coming prospects i.e. Khytrov to knock him out. He'd spark most of the the division (including Monroe lol)

Not even close to as fast or as durable. This won't end well for Willie.

Remember how Golovkin made Lemieux look foolish by pumping the jab ?

Monroe will probably do as well until his legs slow down , then the fight will get interesting from round 4 on .

I pick Monroe to win .

Here's the catch, GGG has a devastating jab, Willie does not.

Monroe has no muster behind his jab. Golovkin's jab rearranged lemieux's face.
