David is leaving Montreal to go fight in the US, in Dec or early 2015 as reported by RDS.ca. Contracts need to be finalized but they're expecting an announcement next week. Lemieux recently said in an interview that nothing was finalized yet, but that he was a few steps away from a world title fight.

Who do you think it'll be, and what kind of chance are you giving Lemieux?

Poll will be up in a sec.

Rosado vs Lemieux is a VERY good fight.

If that happens, I see Lemieux getting stopped. Lemieux will try and blow him out early, Rosado will weather the storm, then Lemieux will gas and get TKO'd.

All of the above would do but I'd really like to see Quillin KO'd by Lemieux.

Lemieux would blow out Quillin but Rosado won´t go down. Rosado has ability to box and put some pain as well. Quillin is just mediocre boxer(at a top level, he is A-level definitely) and Lemieux would have much better chance against him.

Lemieux won't made the same mistake twice...He is aware that he needs to be more patient in the ring and not throw punches for nothing "Rubio was my toughest opponent but that was then, and now I’m a whole different fighter. I wouldn’t make the same mistake twice." David Lemieux

Leaving his promoter and team or just going to fight in the US to get American TV exposure?

At this point, any of them. He's ready for the step up; let's see what he's learned from his first setbacks.

I'm not so sure. He did exactly the same thing in his last fight against Guerrero. It worked that time, as it usually does, but it reinforced to me that he only knows one way to fight, which is to come out guns blazing and throw the kitchen sink at his opponent. Against higher level opponents, he won't get away with that, as Rubio proved.

I'm not a Lemieux hater, btw. I love all-action fighters like him. And I think with more ring smarts and better conditioning, he could be a real force in the MW division.
