David Lemieux would be the man at 160 if it was not for Golovkin

if you actually read through all of my posts on this...ive said as much....yes....football is more start/stop...interval training.... much different than going 12x3...ive also said if a guy like bosa had been gearing towards boxing hed prob be in the 230-240 range.....see post #72

its something you UK/EE guys will never really understand or admit because you prob dont understand it....and again....you are thinking as if im talking about taking the adult, pro athlete versions, of these men and turning them into world class boxers...im not...im talking about taking them as children and giving them years to adapt and train their bodies.....many great american athletes actually excel at more than one sport and usually end up having to choose......stamina and punch resistance are things that can be developed through years of training and the gym.....im not saying every top american athlete would excel in boxing.....im saying the talent pool would be much larger if they had to go that route....

It's quite obvious AJ would excell at most physical sports being 6ft 6 stacked with lean muscle and running 100m under 11s

All he has to do is apply to that discipline.

In the UK with those kind of genetic not many. Can't rem ever seeing someone that tall, lean, athletic and muscular

I've seen big tall strong guys of course but I bet they could barely break 15 s 100m

Nfl is full of jacked weight lifters and then lighter sprinters not many AJs I would suspect. But I'm guessing as I'm ignorant to the sport

Jacobs would be ahead of him. But yeah, he's probably up next.

This showcases the weak division perfectly, honestly. N'dam as Lemiuex's best win with a sizable dropoff to Stevens, Guerrero, Tapia, and Rosado. Those among a few cupcake wins before you get back to his back to back losses in 2011... Jacobs is similar as far as a few decent wins before some cupcake wins dating back to his loss in 2010. But his win over Quillin is big for the state of the division in recent years... And these are the best two MW's, with an honorable mention to Saunders as bad as that is, other than Golovkin. Hmm. Not good.

Hey, Jacobs (29 in 33) and Lemieux (33 in 40) bring the TKO's in the ring, I'll give 'em that. Might be a worthy fight to line up at the end of the year/beginning of next.

nah...alot of the linebackers and defensive ends/outside linebackers are both big/strong and agile.....they run shuttle and cone drills that test agility and most of these guys display freakish ability....to classify alot of these guys as "jacked weightlifters" would be a big mistake

How is it "freakish" if "most" of them display it, genius?

I always wondered how good guys like Gronk or Tony Gonzalez could have been if they would have went into boxing rather than football. I bet Megatron would have been a monster CW/HW.

Not just the NFL...but add in Div 1 NCAA. Avg inside linebackers are going to be 6'2" - 6'6" and 240-255 lbs. Avg tight ends will generally be 6'3" -6'7" and 245-265lbs. Lots of guys who AJ wouldn't stand out amongst.
