Lol probably the only reason I'm interested honestly, again I'm not big on Khan at all. But as far as matchups there are way worse.

I think he would. Canelo isn't a middle weight. His team said he isn't ready to move up on the scene today. But he holds the MW title anyway. The whole situation is making a joke out of the sport.

I used to think Lem had a great shot at stopping Canelo, but Canelo has improved every fight imo, to the point where right now, I have no problem picking him against Lemieux, but I do think it would be an insanely dangerous fight for him and possibly a bad styles matchup. Overall he is the better fighter, imo.... but just matchup wise I think it could be very dangerous. At this point though I would favor Canelo.

Also, while Canelo 'isn't a middleweight' (despite being comparable to many middleweights weight wise come fight night), Lemieux isn't a big middleweight himself and I don't think he would be all that imposing. Literally his only advantage would be, hes got power that can change fights.... and change fighters gameplans.

Id pick Canelo by UD, but just wouldn't bet on it.

Some of you nitwits need to learn one thing, "big and strong" does not mean a thing if you don't have the skills to use that to your advantage.

Those fights were close, no outboxing going on there. And He won because he was stronger and bigger. I did watch a Cuban Outbox him and get robbed.

True, but two fisted one punch power does. And Lemieux is not skilless, he did have a good amateur background.

Khan's speed makes it fun. But Khan is not even the #1 WW. This isn't Ray Leonard or Mayweather moving up.

Whoa whoa whoa never did I say I consider Khan a top fighter, I just wanna see the eventual stoppage. Khan sucks but say Canelo-Brook or Thurman at 155 would have been quality fights Imo.
Khan is all talk to me I don't see how he has people who look at him as elite, but who knows the Canelo fight could just be a cash out or maybe he actually isn't a ducker and legit wants the best the latter I doubt tho.

I would pick DL against el Pollo. Someone mentioned Lemieux couldn´t KO Rubio, but Canelo couldn´t even KO Mathew Hatton!

Lemieux has better KO ratio against bigger opponents. He is the powerhouse at 160. Canelo wasn´t a puncher even at 147 or 154, so power advantage is clearly on Lemieux.

That is the reason and whole point why Canelo is defending MW/160 title against current 147 pounder who has never fought even at 154.

The weight difference is at least 20 pounds, is that really a boxing match?! Seriously? This is like Crawford vs. Golovkin or Kovalev vs. Saunders.
