Good prospect for sure. Just not sold yet. What will he do when he faces someone who can stand his power? Or when he met a defensive wizard? Or someone who has his own power to retaliate? Correct me if i'm wrong but he still haven't face one of those.
Question... Answer... The only way Lemieux will get to Martinez is if he holds the belt to which Martinez has "rights" on. And that's the belt Zbik & Chavez will be fighting for in June. If Lemieux-Martinez happens, we're probably looking at late 2012. Late 2011, early 2012 by the time Lemieux gets to Zbik/Chavez anyway.
Naugler could stand David's power. Seen his face after the fight though? Lemieux trips when it doesn't work out. Between the 7th & 8th round (IIRC) of the Naugler fight, Russ tells him to slow down and box a little. Next thing you know David gets hit by a counter hook and unleashes the fury for about 12 continuous seconds. 'Tilt'..! Can't do that against an experienced guy that has both decent defensive abilities and accuracy on offense... he'll walk you down after you're done flurrying. Rubio has power. Whether he has enough to retaliate as you put it, I couldn't say. His right hits hard, but it's somewhat slow. Who knows, maybe Rubio can really get David out of his comfort zone and we'll see Lemieux fighting off of..... the back foot?! Lemieux is almost always the aggressor, but I wouldn't be surprised if Rubio plays that role should something not work out at all for David. If Rubio's workrate was excellent, I'd give him a decent chance to outpoint David - possibly stop him late. However, it's not. Lemieux will gladly walk into a 1-2 to connect with some shots of his own. Rubio is out in 6.
Hum no i don't think so, there are a lot of Armenians in Lebanon but not many Lebaneses in Armenia. Plus, he said himself that his mother and his stepfather are Armenian. I think ESPN made a mistake. :good
