Ok, I know I was touting this guy as the second coming of Jullian Jackson but he hit a snag, so he is now 3-0 since his last loss I still think he has skills and you can't deny the kid can punch what do you guys think his future holds?

Not much unless he proves he can beat someone with a pulse.

He needs to take his time an fight some guys that are sold boxers but not much at punching, who is going to take him late, I think this guy will have a belt one day if they take there time, I am saying in about 3 to 4 years, he will be 26.
With his power he will always be a threat, It might not hurt for him to leave Canada an go to Germany for a year or so an just get away from that hometown nothing will can go wrong feel....

It's the level of competition that needs to change, not the location, plain and simple. Whenever he's genuinely stepped up he's fallen short. It says a lot that he loses a majority decision to someone like Joachim Alcine who then goes on to get stopped brutally in the first round against Matthew Macklin, he's just not a top calibre fighter.

I think he's making too good a living in his comfort zone to reach world status- when you can pack in fans and make good money fighting cans, it's tough for a lot of fighters to keep their motivation up to keep getting better.

That said, even if he never reaches the top level, I'll always watch his fights. He's a fan-friendly action fighter, and I respect that.

I think he's just a good fighter with great power. A B- type. He might snag a title somewhere because of having decent skill and great power, but more likely than not any very good, let alone great, guy has to be favoured over him, I think. Until proven otherwise, anyway. I think we can gauge his ceiling, now, but if not, he wouldn't be the first to pull it together and prove he can be more than the assumption about him.

He's got decent skills. I would just like him to move his head much more while trying to move in with a sharp jab. He should also stop aiming for the fence practically every punch he throws. He should make his punches more compact on the inside so he could throw somewhat quicker combos with a bit less power if necessary.

Fighting easier guys gives him a false sense of overwhelming power against anyone he faces. He needs to get better opposition as soon as possible and apparently he will with his next fight.

At 21, they fed him Ayala, which was fairly decent. They were telling him that the guy was tough, fought at world championship level (you got to be at least a little "good" to get there). On ESPN, they were saying how they thought Ayala would probably stop inexperienced Lemieux would probably loose that fight. Lemieux knocked him out in the first minute of the fight. After that, apparently, Lemieux just wasn't listenning to his coachs. He thought he was so good he didn't need to work hard. We know the result with Rubio. Did win every round until the sixth. But then that was it. It didn't have anything left in the tank.

I thought he won by one round against Alcine (which was at one point world champion) and came hungry like a lion.

NO, if he was 29 years old you would be correct, he still young, an he been getting big checks for the last few years. He needs to go were he not loved, he needs to fight guys like alcine so he does go the distance. I would like to see him mix it up in Europe for a couple of years, I think he would grow more. I think it is the one thing that hurt Bute, he just to use to his backyard, keep in mind bute is a much better boxer.

Germany is not a harsh crowd as long as you can fight, I don't think he loses to much going there, but his mind set will be challenged, that or try an get on undercards in las vegas. This guy was being groomed by espn to be a TV prospect for America, if he did not lose, I wouldn't be shocked to see him on HBO or showtime by now... He would be foolish to rush into to fast, he is 23. Middleweight division is one of the deepest, no need to run an be someone whipping boy. He is very athletic, I can tell by watching him, they have yet to tap into that potential.

Lemieux may well be the greatest T'Rex'd Fighter in Boxing today.

That counts against him big time, because Reach is vital in boxing.

Throw into the mix the fact that he is also Glass Jawed and has crap fitness, he ain't no threat to the A Level fighters.

There are good fighters out there that he can beat, but the choice of opposition needs to be selective until he improves defensively and learns how to pick his punches better. Him against Sturm would be interesting.

From what I have seen, he's still the exact same fighter. He doesn't seem to have learned from his mistakes. He'll always be exciting and dangerous but I can see him being on the wrong end of a clinic against a polished boxer.

ESPN level. Can knock out most middleweights. Can also potentially get upset by anyone B- grade or up.

    Travis Walker syndrome.
