Of course he is not going to say: "I am afraid of him" "I am not ready for him", etc. But after Rubio, he knows it is not the time for now to go for GGG.

I'm sure he ain't scared. He's a young guy in his prime and might be amongst the top ten or 20 160lbers in the world.

Won't stop him from losing however.

    Who wouldn't?

I would still cheer for Lemieux though!

You don't say your not afraid of him, it means you are. You have to say I'm gonna knock that pretender out. Lemieux is bricking it.

if david connects a few good shots he could easily put anyone, including ggg down, lemieux trains with the 175lb guys in montreal often enough...just like ggg who trains with heavier guys...

here is the thing....ggg has a very good defence, jab, and distance control....getting ggg to be in lemieux's range, i think is doubtfull...personally i think it would look similar to gatti vs mayweather...but if lemieux can connect a few good shots, ggg game plan might change, we have never seen anyone land big on ggg, let alone someone with as much power

Now that Peppi Lemieux is back on the world stage again are we going to get stupid comments from him with alarming regularity?
