I see this guy Beauchamp beat Joel Brunker...I know Brunker didn’t turn out to be that good but that still seems very surprising?

I saw John Parker the other day and I couldn’t believe how small he is for someone fighting at cruiser. Boxing really doesn’t have suitable weight classes for short, well built Polynesian guys. John
is not even 5’9” and in person he isn’t even very heavily built.

Richie Hadlow wins via UD. A real slugfest where Hadlow got the spoils. He looks about 2-3 weight classes bigger than Beauchamp and it showed as Beauchamp struggled with the extra size and power Hadlow bought, struggling to keep Hadlow off him for parts of the fight. A very close fight I thought that could have gone either way so no complaints with the decision despite having Beauchamp winning myself (only just).

Hadlow has called out David Higgins to put this fight on again on the Parker v Fa undercard next month.

Round 1. Light wins via TKO

Not much to gain there for Light. He has Mose Auamatagi next on the Parker v Fa undercard so the only good thing about this fight is that he didn't get injured. Hopefully some big fights next year for David Light.
