Not sure how many of you saw the Golovkin Lemieux press conference today. David looked like he'd already lost the fight. He bit down on his bottom lip when it came time to speak and came up with the "There will be Blood" line, but was clearly very uncomfortable when seated. When David's trainer spoke, it was like he was already explaining defeat. Yes David wants to fight the best. Unfortunately it will take more than a strong punch and intimidating hairstyle to avoid a vicious beating from Gennady.

Uhm I saw the exact opposite. He seemed quite relaxed and confident. He was raising his eyebrows and smirking in a ****y manner every time Golovkin or his team mentioned something about Lemieux's chances and abilities.

So, I saw the exact opposite basically. I'm a girl, so perhaps my intuition is better. ;) it's never led me wrong thus far

He's looked perfectly fine to me, the face off was almost jovial.

I like David, but even he has to know how overmatched he is against Golovkin.

People see what they want to see. You expect to see him scared so you subconsciously create evidence to back it up.

Scared no, nervous- yes. Manny was too though. They both has enormous pressure put on them. Mayweather was nervous in a way I've never seen in him before, but he channeled that to more focus in the ring.

Don't know if Lemieux was scared or not but he needs to sue whoever gave him that haircut

It's a big stage. So maybe he was nervous about that. But, it had little to do with Gennady I'd imagine. GGG is not physically imposing. He's always smiling, shaking hands and all that...until he gets in that ring at least. I think he is going to hurt David.

He was very excited, but that's perfectly normal.

I haven't seen the press conference, but I'm assuming Golovkin's people paid for that haircut to create the illusion that this mismatch is a big drama show. Flopping hair can do that.
