Lopez is a highly curious individual. I wouldn't say.

I think Lopez would out class Rubio over all he is a much better a around fighter. Yes Rubio has been a busy fighter of late I wish he and Lopez would fight so we could see the best middle in Mexico:bbb

Lopez is the best Mexico has to offer a solid contender and highly feared man...I wonder why he has been inactive?

I was told he left Golden Boy and want Eric Morales bad move Golden Boy has all TV dates and was having Lopez fight often:patsch Also I don't know why Lopez moved down 154 he was rated very high at middle and could have gotten into a eliminator for a shot at Pavlik:huh

Golden Boy has blown signings for fighters lately... they failed to sign Tyson Marquez and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez so I guess it is no surprise but you are right if you want to fight you need to be part of Golden Boy

Zuniga stopped Lopez in January 2005. He hasn't lost a fight since then. Most if the other times he was stopped came at absurd weights, LHW and above, or clear down around welterweight. His chin is fine. The real problem has been fighting at weights he shouldn't be fighting at, and taking fights on short notice.

I just realized that, if you don't count untested prospects, Lopez has beat 3 undefeated fighters: Jerson Revelo, Michael Walker, and one other.

Lonnie Bradely. I remember watching that fight on ESPN. If Bradely had won, he was going on to fight Hopkins in what would've been a good fight. Lopez has really good power at MW, just being handled really poorly. The move down to LMW to Martinez never happened, now it's like he's giving up on his career.

He was supposed to fight Rubio for the Pavlik eliminator, but Ornelas got in instead. I might go with Lopez over Rubio due to the bigger punch.
