Sensational performance. To beat up a guy that much bigger, and a broken hand, on top of rocking his socks in the 12th round, just amazing. He showed Dirrell how you fight on the backfoot, and was basically a 15stone 8 Mayweather in the ring. There is no chance Vitali or Wlad could beat Haye, because they are both 1 dimensional, Haye has proved he is an amazing boxer who can not only box the socks off people, but decimate them inside of a few rounds if he chooses. All hail teh reign of King David Haye.:happy:happy
I am English before I am British, and someones upset that Haye proved he can beat anyone, very easily, not only that, he is a better version of Dirrell except with KO power and aggression. Vitali and Wlad will be even harder to deal with now, Haye can adapt to their tactics and starch them both.:deal
I was really immpressed by that performance given the circumstances of haye injuring his best weopon (his right hand).
I disagree, everyone thought Haye can only come forward and KO someone who he gasses out. He's proved he can do more than that, this has added a new scope into his fights with the Klits, he can mix it up with both Klits and fight on the backfoot, making Wlad and Vitali very uncomfortable.
First time we've agreed Anglo. Haye put on a defensive clinic last night. All these Yanks saying Dirrell performed better against Froch than Haye did last night know nothing about boxing, Haye was dodging and blocking whilst Dirrell was holding, ducking below the waist, turning his back and falling over.
I think Dirrell is better than Froch aswell, but he didnt fight the right fight to get the decision...and to be fair Froch has got some serious heart. As for Haye, i could learn to like him,if he just shut the **** up outside the ring.
Froch caught Dirrell with a few clean punches, infact, they wer pretty even in terms of clean punches, Dirrell was also in trouble in part of the fight, add to that his clinching, falling over and crying... nothing like Haye, and I believe Froch won by 1 round, though, I wouldn't have argued a draw, the only thing that bothers me from that fight, is people claiming it was a robbery, like Dirrel won by so much. I think Valuev landed maybe 2 punches all night, Haye just toyed with him, I did want him to throw more, because i did wonder about the German rep for gifting fighters, but, the 2 judges scored it exactly how I scored it. Jim Watts, god knows how he had Valuev 2 rounds up.
i do see where your coming from, Haye should fight that guy Chambers beat to prepare for the klits (as close as your going to get to the klit model of fighting)
Chambers is high risk low reward when compared to the Klits, I'd rather him go for teh big names, then try clean up the division. Chambers looks a good prospect, I do think Haye would win, but now he has the belt and the fame, a defence against Ruiz, then after Wlad, then hopefully Vitali would make perfect business sense and wait for Chambers to build his own name.
