David Price- dear oh dear

Price should retire simple as that, can't win the euro crown v some poor slugger. Technique looked so poor from both fighters. Am sure at some point I saw price standing square on throwing a half hearted jab. Terrible

 

Scary things is Terper was actually outboxing Price lol

It wasn't just the left hook that finished him, the right to the side of the head, just before, did a lot of damage. Very poor taste these comments about Price's susceptibility to hard punches. It takes a lot of guts for a boxer, knowing he has this ***** in his make up, to continue to box. Let us wish him well and that he makes the right decision for himself. One other point, please keep any reference to football away from here. This is a boxing site, "the beautiful game!" gets more than enough coverage on other outlets. Keep it to "The Noble Art."

I kind of object, on grounds of principle, to anyone trying to restrict, hem and corral conversation on this site. I think it's fine that threads grow organically and include exciting topics such as soccer and, while we're at it, Liverpudlians. They usually drift back to boxing if they ever got that far away from it.

I was struck by that too and I didn't recall noting such bad posture a year or two ago. My view was Price is a giant but of the "my body is breaking down at quite a young age because of the unnatural strain on all joints and ligaments' sort. In other words, I think he may be an old 32. I don't think his technique is worse than it was, but would guess his body is worse than it was.

 

Look man..... I respect all of these guys, and it really takes something to go in that ring and compete. But facts are facts. Price is far too fragile for the division. I like the guy as well, and was a believer(didn't go as far as some did) at one point. But the writing is on the wall.... He would have to be build up completely to achieve anything of note, and even then he would still have trouble. I'm a fan and I'll support him as long as he fights, but the future isn't looking too good for him. :-(
