David Price, glass chin

I dont know what to think about Thompson... He is good boxer but at these circumstances againt Price.:think

I mean what he is gonna test on Price? He cant punch, he has lost that little hunger for succees he might ever had. Thompson said himself if he cant beat Klitschkos there is no point to go on. He is propably coming against Price for decent paycheck and tries to play it safe as possible. We are going to see Price bullying a old guy who dont wanna even try. Thompson is not gonna push him a bit.

 

I think Thompson is a very good test. Any title challengers from 2-3 years ago is a good test for a 15 fight up'n comer.

 

Amateurs doents mean that much.

Being KD'd or KO'd when you;re a kod doesnt mean you;ve a shaky chin.

Tua got KO'd brutally in the amateurs by Savon, yet never seemed to have an issue ion the pros

Taking punches at amateur level is obviously different than in the pros. There is a long list of fighters who were hurt or stopped regularly at amateur level and when they stepped up to the pro game, their chins were fine. I think this is largely because of age and maturing, and possibly being more cautious in the pros. It's certainly not always a sign of a poor chin in the pro game though.

Price will do well though because he has a good defence. You could have the shittest chin in the world but if you can stop yourself from getting him, it's not a problem. Even if you have a poor chin and lack a great defence, that doesn't mean you can't get to a high level, as Khan has proven. One of the worst chins I've ever seen at a high level and yet he's been a genuine world champion.

Price will be a world champion too one day.
