David Price how can he keep doing this to himself?

Actually all he needs is just a better team, he can do everything Wlad did & Wlad had a hell of a career.

He needs a team thats patient, work on his defense, his conditioning (bulk up muscle & strength like Wlad), Wlad should be his blue print to success. Price is a great boxer in the best days of the Heavyweight division, he just needs a team thats patient & have long term plans for him (not ultimatums :smoke )

Price needs a real trainer, he has really had no trainer..................he needs to leave the UK, come to USA and hire a real trainer...............

 

The guy has to make a living and I guess this is what he enjoys and can still make a living at. Though I'd advise he enforce strict testing for any future opponent.

But even against a clean opponent it won't change the fact he has a glass chin and no jab.

 

Thompson stopped him twice, both times in the first half of the fight. Teper knocked him out in *2nd* round.

Both are quite average fighters, so it's stupid to leave it to testing only. He doesn't have jab, mobility, IQ or anything apart from his devastating right hand.

Let's be fair to David Price though, imagine if you was a boxer and your only defeats were against two boxers who failed the drugs test after?

I'd be fuming and the only way to let go of that anger would be to get in the ring. Maybe it will give David Price "an edge" that he hasn't had before.

He'll probably win one of those 3-round 'prizefighter' tournaments get a shot at a "world title" in an all-Brit clash.
He'll possibly challenge Joshua, possibly Haye. I'd like to think Fury is better than to stoop to it, but it might happen.

 

Say what you want, I like Pricey. Good bloke, had a bit of bad luck and lacks a naturally gifted chin. I feel really sorry for him. On the contrary I don't feel anything for guys like RJJ who made millions, wasted it all, box way past their due date and then get their glass chin cracked numerous times.
