Yeah I listen both mate. What is it you do mate? Because if he's asking you on his show you must do something that's in the public eye, tell me to mind my own business if I'm being too nosey!
It’s alright mate, I do comedy. Did it from 2002-2014 full time, comedy clubs, after-dinners, gigged abroad a lot, did music festivals like V, Leeds/Reading etc. used to go on radio, write articles for local paper and stuff like that. Then, my marriage broke up. We eventually reconciled later that year but it came at a compromise where I had to go part-time, stop going abroad and come off social media. I pretty much went off the radar with most clubs as a result. Now, I just do it 5-6 times a month and do support work on the side to supplement my income. That’s my life story fella’s haha.

Thanks mate. I used to have a few bits and bobs, website and all that. All pretty much gone now. Used to write jokes for Manford, Spikey...people like that, too. Thing is, the minute you drop off Facebook/Twitter you’re irrelevant. I do miss it, there will be loads of us on here who sort of define ourselves by our job which I certainly did. Had to sack it off if I wanted things to work at home though. The people who you see on the telly now are not necessarily the funniest, but they are incredibly focussed & dedicated. You have to put yourself first and you just can’t do that if you have a family.
