I used to feel for him a little bit but now I've gone way past that and I find him very amusing these days.

I agree though, he needs to retire, I actually fear for his health a little bit but he obviously wants that payday, a nice little nest egg and at the start of career he probably thought it was a gimme he would end up a multi millionaire.

It's sad really, he still believes a few decent wins and people will start wanting to see him Vs Joshua or Fury and he'll get that decent payday but that ship sailed long ago.

To put Prices career in to some sort of perspective even Audley Harrison won a European title and got a world title shot that's how bad he is.

    "hamster lungs"--brilliant

his post-fight was awkward to watch in fact; the interviewer looked genuinely concerned about Price because he just couldn't seem to catch his breath

    w/r/t the OP:

He showed that he can go the distance
let's be clear that the "distance" was six rounds

Price should fight once a month for, at least, a year...............he moved up too early. He should fight Wilder's winos from the alley, then perhaps he would improve a lot after a year.................Wilder gets away with it, still does, Price could do better against Sconiers and Nichols than Wilder who is a damned fraud!

With most talented fighters, their first defeat can make their careers.

With Price all we have seen is a huge deterioration in his physical condition and his attacking aggression and power.

With the domestic level Price used to carry the power and aggression to get the job done inside 3 rounds. These days he doesn’t and therefore his lack of stamina and defence becomes a factor.

The likes of Gorman and Allen would be about his level now, and as he is a draw there is still money to be made for him.

David Price has a tiny little head. It's time we stop making threads about him coming back and focus on something more relevant like "David Price has retired for good, goes into hiding". Anytime somebody fuels this mans farts with thinking he can come back it's utter pitty upon the boxing scene, and more importantly his poor pitiful personal life. David Price has a tiny little head...he don't know when to stop. His brain cannot function the amount of air needed to fill his big ignorant body due to the size of that itty bitty head.

If he does come back, it will be a true comedy act. And I will be front row watching. For my moment...to scream and laugh..."There she blowwwwwwsssss...."

I find it both embarrassing and a bit tragic watching him constantly deluding himself. He keeps trying to convince himself he can do it but the sad reality is he can't. If he wasn't such a nice chap I wouldn't feel so bad for him.

He'll probably get knocked senseless or spark out again before he even gets near a top level HW.

Price vs Audley was a battle for the undisputed most deluded HWs of all time championship lol

Now, there is no denying the logic of this theory Hope4Better. But you haven't taken into account that pricey only has tiny lungs so he doesnt need very much air at all.

Pre Thompson Price would KO1 or 2 current Price.
He lost all his confidence, and basically beats himself due to his nerves.

He looked like he was a bit more 'loose' with his boxing and jab, perhaps trying to conserve some energy. Who knows how he will get on next year, he can still punch but has serious demons imo. Post fight interview, happy just to get 6 rounds with a journeyman and I think he lost 1/2 of them. Imagine that mind set pre - Thompson! I think unfortunately he will be found wanting again but all the best to him.

Price should work at a furniture store, just stand there with a lampshade over his head. Unless they remake the Addams family and then he could answer the door.

Knocked down in sparring as a novice. Big deal. Your boy gets regularly KTFO in actual fights.

Not to mention he's fighting 6 rounders in front of about 50 people in a leisure centre on Youtube.

    Deal with that.

I reckon fraudley would have beat him in his prime. Even in their fight I feel he **** his pants of the damage he was going to get and if he had tried to survive he'd have had pricey bent over offering him his bum after 3 or 4 rounds.
