If Allan can soak up the power and back price up all bets are on..haven't seen last night fight but in the one at goodison a real low tier fighter got him against the ropes and unloaded. Better fighters will make those moments count. Price still mega vulnerable.

The thing that struck me about Price last night. He threw a couple of stiff body shots which had Perkovic waving a hand to gesture 'no more' and Pricey obliged despite the ref initially not stepping in. He's got no killer instinct. Could you imagine how AJ or Haye, for example, would have reacted? They would have thrown a lot of leather at his face. As would most boxers to be honest. Price might fall into that awful catagory of being 'too nice'.

Price seems like a good humble guy. Criticize his flaws all you want, but calling him a delusional is a bit of a stretch. That said... Fighting Parker is suicidal. Especially when there's not a belt on the line. He needs to continue rebuilding until a good opportunity comes his way. If he dusts of the likes of Charr, Hammer off he'll get a call from Hearn no doubt.

Slightly delusional but his defeats have come against foreign drugs cheats. He's got serious power and presents a danger to any fighter in the world.

I dont think i agree with that anymore tbh. Guys like joshua. Parker would absolutely batter him. Hes got heavy hands. But hes too slow and not athletic enough too cause them any trouble. Wont even land on either before getting taking out. It ll be like watching harrison v haye all over again.

What was that guy's guard all about?! Awful, absolute waste of time. I struggle to be interested in his career anymore to be honest. He's just not that good. If he fights a live body next and does well then I'll be happy for him but as far as I can tell he wants that AJ cash out and nothing else

I don't see why many can't see it.
Price is gun shy, even against that tomato can at the weekend he was terrified of being hit.
He hasn't got a hope of progressing, and the thought of putting him in with Parker is frightening.

Yeah you totally failed to address the point, presumably because you had no answer to it. A boxer with a fighter's instinct wouldn't have just stood there waiting to see what the ref would do, he would have carried on throwing punches until the ref intervened. He's got the eye of a koala bear not a tiger...

When asked about Joshua fighting Parker at the weekend Hearn just started talking a load of waffle, about Parkers options the Wlad fight is 60/40 etc blah, blah, blah.

Hes actually got worse since thompson beat him. And even back then he was never that good to begin with in terms of world level etc. Add to that i dont think i ve seen many just give up like he did against thompson in that second fight. At one point he was trying to hide behind the turnbuckle. My heart goes out to him cause hes a good guy. But they need to be careful because parker joshua etc could seriously hurt him.

I wish they would try and build him up the right way tho. Slowly building opposition. That at the weekend was a joke you d have put that guy in with price on his debut. We re so many years down the line now...and the levels never really been raised whatsoever in the comeback since teper. Dave allen would be a great opponent for price atm. Lets see if he can get the job done and look impressive doing it. Then step it up gradually.

The thing with the cash out fight against joshua etc is price has already been exposed plus we can all see hes not looking like any kind of threat to them whatsoever atm. Its not like we re sitting here not knowing what hes capable of. Hate seeing david going down this route tbh. I d prefer these guys gave up boxing and got a normal job if their just hangung around for a cash out fight. Especially when their still young enough and got good backing to build a decent career out of himself.

He was better at the start of his pro career, it's not just a case of his poor chin, he's regressed in his whole game.
He's tentative, the jab is virtually non existent and he's now prone to fighting on the back foot.
    He's 6'10 and 270 pounds ffs.
He should be taking the centre of the ring, stepping in throwing out a ramrod jab and putting his opponents on the back foot intimidating them, then if they want to get past it they take the chance of being met by monster counters.
    It aint going to happen.

Watch from 9mins 50secs. This is Price's pro debut, you know against an opponent who is no threat to him and picked to make him look good. Before the cheap shot after the ref called stop boxing he was clipped by a straight shot and kind of 'powered down'. Very odd...

By the looks of things the flaws have been there from the beginning. Always looks laboured to me. Like he cant deal with the pressure of it all. The problem is years down the line we re still seeing the same problems but maybe even worse.

I never really seen much of price coming through a couple of first round wins your thinking this guy could be up there. But looking back he actually doesnt look nearly good enough considering people were saying hes ready to be threw in with klitchko.

Brutal knockout for the big man in the end tbf. Cant help but think hes gonna end up like audley harrison but probably even worse.
