Price can operate at euro or British level but he is finished at world level for good. He will never ever win a world title he doesn't have it mentally or in terms of the physical tools required. Drop back down to domestic level for the time being and get some momentum going then fight for the European title and perhaps if he defends that a few times he will get a title shot which he will almost certainly lose for me and its debatable that he'd even get that far.

Price is not finished, he is just not ready for top ten fighters. Price needs a new trainer and conditioning coach, that's all. If Price had fought the same opponents as Wilder, he would still be undefeated. Wilder refused to fight Thompson, never forget that.......

This is very true.He was overhyped.A poll of experts, both in the media and on here, would probably have revealed that around 80 percent would have backed him to beat Fury handily.Probably the reverse now.Just too big a jump.Thompson was easy to underestimate,I did it myself.41years old,a bit out of condition, although this was proved this fight not to be the case.Price hadn't been the rounds, and it was his stamina found wanting. As you say,not Davids fault he got too much publicity. He can still do well, maybe Euro champ,if he addresses some issues, and the lad deserves to.

I think the ironic thing here is that hell benefit from the mistakes made from the people behind David. He can't fail to be a hell of a pro IMO,but please no premature talk of world titles.Weve just seen that one backfire.

So your only interested in world title fights. what about domestic level fights like Matthews v crolla, smith v Dodson, Purdy v vassell, neary v holligan, just a few off the top of my head I enjoyed. None of the above will probably ever be 'world' level, but are involved in fights were they have shown, skill, power, guts and heart more than you and I ever could. I don't think its a bad thing to have your opinion and state it, its how you do it, and its quite ridiculous to label talented boxers bums cos they've 'only' won british titles.

Price just needs to go back to the drawing board.

Get a few easy fights under him within a short space of time to get confidence up.

Gta work on his fitness levels.

Maybe a change of trainner would do him good to;- booth maybe

    Absolutely.
Doubt this would fix everything but it's a step in the right direction at least.

I dont think change in trainer / fitness is the problem.

I totally agreed with what Adam Booth said on ringside last week, it's a mental / emotional thing, that nothing to do with fitness/ability...

He needs a sports psyhcologist or something like that but I said before he cant be like that in a boxing ring...not sure what it is but he doesnt like getting hit (none of us do) but he doesnt seem to have that ability to grit his teeth (no heart) yes people say he's British champion he did that witohut getting hit and knocking most out in a round or 2..

He learnt too easy or just doesnt have the heart.
