You can't train a chin, and he was dropped with the most cuffy of cuffing shots.

in all fairness it did bust his ear drum...even so it was embarrassing to see a fight go down off a shot like that

He was never at world level, he took a step up from British level against Thompson and look what happened.

Apart from the embarrassing way he went down, it could be the best thing that has happened to him. He's got to realise that he can't knock everyone out early and got to wear some fighters down. Just before he got knocked down he went to work at Thompson in the corner and although he wasn't particularly hurt, Thompsons legs certainly stiffened. He probably thought he could get him out of there early and got caught while throwing a big right. He'll be back and hopefully start to pick his shots better

What are you on about "Euro levels"? The best heavyweights at the moment are European. Get your head out your arse.

Euro level = European belt level :patsch

I'd put money on Price picking up the Euro belt. Easy way to make him sell-able again.

Pretty much over for him with a Chin that bad he isn't going anywhere this is worse than Khan or anything I have seen before. One of the worst Chins ever.

    Exactly.

However, I would add that the quality of the division being what it is, the gulf between British level, European level and world level is nowhere near as wide as it could or should be. Price, with a few adjustments (improvements) could be considered fringe world level in a few fights, but for me, he has the potential to be a solid Euro level fighter and not much more than that.

A dodgy chin is made less of a liability if it's behind a decent defense, which Price doesn't have, but if he can get one, he can progress.

I guess a lot of british people are upset and letdown by the Thompson fight.

Maybe Tyson Fury will go all the way but he has a weak chin, too.

For the last time on here your Chin IS your second line on Defense. It is impossible to have perfect Defense all the time. I don't care who you are Willie Pep or Pernell Whitaker got punched in the face occasionally.

This guy is a Glass Jawed Disgrace. Like I said this is a level past even a Glass Jawed Fraud like Khan.

Here is the situation you are going to have now people are going to come right at that Glass Jaw of his and show ZERO respect. None. Also, mentally he is going to be scared to take a punch. Think Roy Jones Jr.

Price was the Ultimate hype job because of his size. The ONLY thing he does have which a guy like Khan doesn't is legit right hand power. That *might* keep some guys from coming right at him but World Level fighters with Chins are not going to care.

This was an epic blunder on so many levels for Price and his team. You can't train a Chin.

Price will be fine, he needs to rematch with Thompson.

His chin is ok, he got hit on the lower back side of the head thats what put him down.

  14. He proofed, that he has nothing to seek in the world level class. He is 29 .. his time is over .. NEXT!

Pulev is the champion and one of the best contenders right now. So euro level is pretty high at the moment.
Price should step back to national level were he was coming from...
A rematch against TT makes no sense right now.
