The problem is that Thompson is done and yet still stopped Price. He turned up in horrible shape looking for a payday, landed a glancing blow and won!

Any word if Tony T is up for a rematch as Price says he wants?

It wasn't a rabbit punch and evidence already shows he has an awful Glass Jaw. Not sure why you are doing this to yourself but have at it. He has one of the worst Chins around and was just sparked by a fat uninterested shot 41 year old fighter. That is not good. At all.

Thompson said no rematch he is on to bigger and better paydays. Can't blame him. He went to Price's backyard and KOed him for peanuts.

Why is there a need for a rematch in the first place? It was a 2nd round KO. It isn't like the fight was competitive or anything.

come on m,an, im a fan of the glass jaw rankings has his ko was a ****ing disgrace but it wasnt because of his jaw, he had ****ed his ear drum...so maybe it was just a freak punch.....when he does get KTFO'd in the near future i have no problem with you sticking him in the top 10 glass jaws.

Arran, there is already video evidence of his Glass Jaw. The guy was getting knocked silly in the Ams with headgear on. We knew it already it isn't a shock.

One thing Price does have going for him that a fighter like Khan doesn't is Price does have legit power in his right hand that will keep some fighters honest and make them think twice about coming at his Glass Jaw recklessly.

Time to move on. Fury is a much better fighter and I actually like the guy and welcome him into the mix he will make things interesting. :good

He can say whatever he likes but there is a rematch clause if Price's team chose to enforce it.

I'd say he can definatley come again, it's certainly not over for him. I must be one of the only ones who thinks Thompson got lucky in the fight. I think price would have blasted him out of there fairly quickly, had Thompson not landed that lucky punch. But like price said, these things do happen in boxing, and he is right because we have seen it happen time and time again. I think Thompson himself would have been surprised that price went down so easily.

But anyway, sorry to ramble on, so aye he can deinatley come again. But if that's what is gonna happen everytime he gets hit by a half decent pot shot to the ear, then i'd say he has next to no chance of ever winning a world title.

Price was looking nervous leading upto the knockout, when Thompson started throwing back Price didn't like it ... rematch would work,if Price works on alot of his flaws beforehand...he can't just waltz in and knock him out.

There was a rematch clause in the contract & Thompson didn't say no, he said he would want more money.

They can't 'enforce' anything. It isn't like there was a belt on the line. Geez. :patsch

He said he is not going back to fight anyone but Fury. Price isn't going to come to D.C. and fight Thompson and they can't enforce anything.

Thompson is moving on and rightfully so.

So if Thompson is contractually obliged to rematch Price, Price's team cannot enforce said rematch clause because its not a title fight

Is that what you are saying Rico?
