Was Jason Gavern not a bum? Why tf was Wilder fighting a 25-16-4 opponent in his 32 career fight? First 32 fights all total bums. Wilder beats one decent Heavyweight Stivirne who showed up badly in shape, no stamina, fat , no work rate. Goes back to fighting fringe contenders like Eric Molia, Duphaus, Arellola etc. People not expected to be a challenge for any World level HW much less be a so called "Title Challenger".
Less than stellar is a serious understatement but he's quite obviously a top ten heavyweight as evidenced by the way he's been able to devour all of the low hanging fruit he has on taking the path of least resistance.
The truth is, after eight years as a professional, David Price never developed beyond a six-round prelim fighter. He's a bust as a pro.
Says one of the most bland, uninsightful and repetitive posters on the board. "Hahaha lol.. Headvetkin Meldonium **** **** Huck"
You don't even talk about fighters in other divisions Frankenstein. You're a dick riding poster. That means that your friends always like your posts even when they are terrible simple ass uninformative dick riding posts lol...
As much as we blame price his team have to be blamed its been evident in his career he has stamina issues and asking him to drag 19 stones around a ring for potential 12 rounds is crazy. Even Price should know himself. I wondering if he has a health problem or something?
One more thing, hold on a minute. Anthony Joshua only has 18 fights. He won a World title in his 16th fight. Deontay Wilder in his 16th fight, fought Reggie Pena 6 wins (1) K0- 10 Losses. Sullivan Barrera the LHW knocked Reggie Pena out in 2 rounds, before Pena stopped training and moved up to Heavyweight. Tyson Fury fought for the Undisputed HW Championship of the World in his 25th fight. Wilder in his 25th fight fought Damon McCreary, a guy with 1 fight in the last 5 years Reggie Pena http://boxrec.com/boxer/424384 This is a picture of Damon MCcreary, he is one of the fattest, most out shape Heavyweights that I have ever seen. He use to fight at SuperMiddleWeight when he actually trained. http://static.boxrec.com/thumb/8/85/Damon_McCreary.png/200px-Damon_McCreary.png http://boxrec.com/boxer/45596 Good god what a joke, here is the video if you can bear to watch this trash. The guy is not a HW. He did not train for the fight. This content is protected
Joshua and Wilder are NOT world champions clown and Joshua hasn't fought anyone yet. Stiverne is better than anyone on Joshua's resume.
What happened when he fought the top 10 guy? He beat decisively. How masmasny top 10 guys has Kelly brook fought in his dfivision? 1 yet he's considered top 5 universally and rightly so.
I'm personally not a big fan of Wilder, he's fights are entertaining but a lot of these guys act like his a bum but let's face it the guy is an Olympian and world champion how can they act like his not a player in the division.
The fact he was an Olympic medalist really undermines the often put forward 'he never had much of an amateur career so had to fight 30-odd absolute stiffs coming up' argument. Still that approach never worked for Seth Mitchell so it shows that he's not as bad as many would have us believe. Still might turn out to be highlight reel KO for one of the divisions other big names, he's only got himself to blame for being seen as a ducker reluctant to face a live body.
Why are people argueing? Fury is the king nobody else matters. Wlad will retire this summer after he schools AJ. Fury will face a 1-2 year ban for cocainum then everyone can circlejerk bumsquad Wilder, PEDvetkin & bodybuilder AJ. Although AJ rules that threesome...Wilder might cash out at the end of the year with that fight..fun "comeback" fight for AJ also.
