Sugar88 did you watch the Deontay Wilder vs Damon McCreary video? That was Wilder's 25th opponent FFS. Damon was so fat and out of shape, I cannot believe that he was issued a boxing license. What commission lets a morbidly obese former Supper Middleweight fighter come out of retirement and fight a 24-0 Heavyweight? Damon was a 168 lbs fighter that let himself go to 262 lbs against Wilder. This is a disgrace this ever happend.

No worries. He hasn't out and out ducked someone as champ - part of the reason I dislike Povetkin as much as I do as it's his fault that we still don't know if Wilder is legit - but he has certainly picked his opponents out a the handful of names that would be considered the weakest challengers available to him.

He needs to step up this year, even a run of Washington, Miller, Jennings or Breazeale wouldn't be good enough at this point.

He needs Fury, Parker, AJ, Klitschko, Ortiz or Haye this year.

I'm just glad you didn't say he ducked Povetkin like some morons believe. Don't get me wrong I do think he wasn't keen on fighting Povetkin but it wasn't his fault that fight fell apart.

I completely agree after the Washington fight a unification fight is a must.
It's pretty clear that his opponents are very poor for a champ but I don't see him losing to anyone ranked within the wbc anytime soon reason being a lot of the best fighters will avoid the wbc belt as it requires Vada testing. If Parker beats Fury I will be confidently picking wilder if he's arm is fully healed without issue. Who would you pick?

Yep. I think he was probably quite happy that the Povetkin fight fell through but it's all on Povetkin that it'll never happen now.

I think Parker would beat him. He has a good chin and whilst his technique isn't the best it's more than enough to have success on the sometimes sloppy looking Wilder. He also has solid if not earth shattering power and again I think that would be enough to get Deontay in trouble. Wilder has made a career out of avoiding punchers which tells me him and his team have no confidence in his chin.

I also struggle to see him getting Parker out of there if he couldn't put a very ill out of shape Stiverne away. If he does win though, expect me to have a big plate of humble pie whilst asking why the **** didn't he step up earlier? ;)

Listen Tyson is gonna come back knock Wilder spark out if someone doesn't expose him first. Its is an easy fight vs a reta@rd that doesn't even have basic boxing fundamentals. Wilder can't ****en box. He throws wild ass windmills, has poor foot work, keeps his chin straight up in the air, doesn't keep his hands up, etc, etc. Teddy Atlas broke all that down. Wilder stays undefeated by the continuing to fight the worst opposition of any title holder that I have ever seen in boxing.

Tyson clearly doesn't give a **** about returning, and doesn't have the discipline to stay in it.

He clearly wants to hand the reigns to Hughie, and let him and Peter do the father/son thing.

Fury would likely outpoint Wilder if in in Klit shape. Not sure about KO but is possible.

To be fair although I do rate stiverne the guy can punch, I respect your opinion on Parker but I just don't see him beating any top big man his gunna seriously struggle with the top big men in the division just from his style.

In regards to Wilder he has had an easy run but like I said as champ he hasn't ducked anyone and he will continue to be protected by the fact a lot of the top guys will avoid that WBC belt whilst Vada testing is a mandatory.

Oh BTW if Parker does beat Fury and then goes to beat Wilder I'll give your deserved credit on the pick bro.

Fair enough. Personally I find it difficult to rate Bermane too highly considering his performance against the very limited Ray Austin.

If you look up the condition he was suffering from when he fought Wilder you'll also see that he should never have been allowed in the ring that night. It's no joke.

If Wilder beats Parker then expect a pat on the back from me for seeing what I couldn't.
