Stiverne is finished lol by no means do I seem as a player at top anymore but he can hit hard if he catches someone. If he pulled out I garuntee people will have said he would beaten Wilder if wasn't sick, some people are just hated and can never win even when things are out of there contol. Lol same vice versa, what do you think about Parker vs Fury then?
I don't know if he would of won had he not been ill and I never really rated him to start with but his condition has to be taken into account. Rhabdomyolysis is a really debilitating affliction. Wilder beat the man in front of him but that was an ill champion. Re. Parker, I think he'll beat Fury now he's off the sauce. It's amazing how after being busted for PED use all of his acne has cleared up. He doesn't hit hard enough to get Parker's respect and I think the big Kiwi will close the distance and tee off on Hughie. I know he didn't look great in his last outing but he'll have learned a lot from that and will again enjoy home advantage so I can't see Hughie getting the W. If he does school him over 12 as big Tyson is predicting then more power to him but we'll prob be seeing that belt milked for all its worth if he does.
Were that the case I can't see why Stiverne would not have pulled out as he would have a medical clearance for it. lol not sure how much effect the sauce had on Fury as he doesn't rely on speed or power as let's say someone like AJ, maybe more a stamina thing. After the purse bid I'm gunna lean to Parker and your right it's probably best Parker wins as he looks likely to go for unifications. However if Hughie had carried on with no inactivity etc I would easy go for a Hughie decision he is just better pure boxer than Parker and Parker style is tailor made for him imo.
Put simply money. There's no way he should have been cleared to fight whilst suffering with rhabdomyolysis but with the promoters involved it comes as little surprise.
Especially when your promoter is Don king the devil himself. In which tough tits for Stiverne he chose that promoter and to go through with the fight hard to feel sorry for him.
We can evaluate Wilder by the manner of his wins, if you mean how good he is at the top level we can't know yet so we reserve judgement. We can guess but that's all we can do, till he gets a good mandatory or goes for a unification.
Lots of fighters flatter to deceive against lower level opposition - Jeff Lacy being a good example. I say the same about Golovkin I just think it's much less his own fault or design that his resume is still a bit thin but as impressive as he looks he is still somewhat untested at the top level.
I think everyone can tell the difference between a monster who no other top fighters want to face, versus a protected conman who all of the other top fighters want to face (but for some reason he never faces) It might not show on the resume- but its known.
The fact the remains that despite having very different reasons for being in the position they're in that neither have managed to face an elite name.
Either way I think not being in challenging fights always hurts a fighter more than it helps them. In the case of GGG and deontay I honestly think it's similar in the sense of both guys destroy the lesser competition and both will take tough fights when the financial reward is very high. I don't like it but I'm not gunna call either a bum just gunna take them for what they are.
Well we agree for the most part. I think Golovkin hasn't got his fights due to a combination of horrible mismanagement and outright ducking. Wilder hasn't got his fights due to his team taking the path of least resistance. I think most of the division have been keen to put him to the test for a while now, it's up to him whether or not he wants to accept their challenge.
Aside from Ward situation I cant say anything bad about GGG, although I will maintain 15 million is a lot of money to turn down to beat up someone you have been chasing for years. Deontay and his team are clearly people who wanna milk the belt but if anyone is serious about facing him all they have to do is get into a mandatory position, that way that forces him to fight or vacate. A lot of these top guys won't do it because it requires Vada, I think he is protected by this WBC CBP.
You think this is bad go see me my povetkin thread these guys are going about communism, grammar, Nicki minaj and welfare lol.
