Makes sense. In a few weeks it'll be two years since he was last seen in the ring, getting stopped by Chisora. He found his level, wasn't getting any younger, and while he did bow out with a loss, it was on the back of a minor 'upset' run he probably wouldn't be able to replicate again.
Saw this a bit ago. I was hoping he'd get one decent win in before he did. Someone high level that isn't very aggressive or tough - he'd have a good chance.
Will never forget PRicey beating the crap out of Allen as a sizeable underdog....made some good cash with that. So thank your Sir. Price always had great tools but his chin and defense really ****ed up his career.
Nice man I wish him well. I thought he was headed for big things many years ago, but it was not to be.
Thanks for the entertainment, Price. But my lasting memory of you will be me being inside the stadium watching Povetkin knocking you into the next universe with that left hook.
I'm a fan of Pricey but I'm glad he's retired now, it was only for the best that he saves his brain cells.
