I have read a few comments on here recently about David Price, some of them suggesting he has some form of arrogance or an 'attitude'. I watched last nights Ringside earlier, and I have got to say that I was very impressed with the way in which he conducted himself. You could see how much the win against Sexton meant to him, and he was not afraid to admit it. I really like the way that he wants to do things the traditional way, but at the same time admits that if an opportunity comes along in the mean time he may have little choice but to take it. He completely accepts that he is inexperienced and I was very impressed with how he said he was not ready for a fight with a Klitschko at present (something other heavyweights could perhaps learn from). He came across as a genuine bloke, and he can perform well in front of the camera. He made a minor reference to Tyson Fury, but would not be dragged in to any name calling etc. All in all very impressive, and I have to admit that although it is still early days I am starting to get quite excited about David Prices future!:bbb
Well guys I have to admit I've just spent the best part of the last hour looking for the offending comments, and I'm embarrassed to say I couldn't find them. I do remember the particular thread was from an appearance he made on Ringside a couple of weeks ago; he was at a race day at Aintree promoting theupcoming Sexton fight, and someone made some comments about how he he walked around arrogantly (I personally didn't pick up on this at all!). There was then a reply to the comment where someone said they had seen him leaving/entering a nightclub and his demeanour was poor. I'm afraid you're just have to take my word a this moment in time, surely someone else out there will remember the comments, they weren't that long ago!
I have never met anyone who has a bad word to say about David Price and that is unusual for Liverpool.
Conducting himself very well so far from what I can see. He's a little stiff in interviews but I expect him to relax and banter more when he gets more experience in front of the camera. There's at least two HW's that could learn a thing or two from Price.
Not Arrogant per say, but he does seem to strut around like he owns the gaff in some videos. This content is protected This content is protected
