Probably the best option for Price, this way he can deal with either Frank or Hearn rather then signing for one and effectively closing the door on the other.

The fact he's with Sauerland will mean all his future fights will be on Boxnation making the Derek Chisora fight even more likely.

Thing I know about pricey is that he knows his worth and is very astute when it comes to the business side of things.

Yes there was the error with thompson, but alot of fighters make the same mistakes, Haye also suffered a defeat early on.

Looking forward to his career taking more shape now he is with a good trainer and promoter.

Guess this means there'll be a few fights in Germany. There seems to be quite a few lesser heavyweights over there who are a cut above the fat Latvian type but not top drawer.Which could be good for Daves rehab.Never thought he was gonna be a world champion, but he can still have a successful career.Quite within his capabilities to be European champion.

Could be a good move, I have never been a Price fan but I find it funny how 12 months ago he was the heir to the Klitsckho's throne and now he's a bum. I hope he does well.

And me mate.It doesn't do him any harm that he comes across as a top lad.I bet they love him in Liverpool.

David Price simply didn't have enough rounds since he turned pro 5 years ago, that's why he wasn't ready for Tony Thompson.

But now that he has a proper promoter, hopefully he'll become more active. I still believe he has excellent potential, but it'll take a year or two to get him onto the right track. Hopefully he'll have a warm-up on the Dec 14th Sauerland card.

Price needs to fight a few bums before he fights another ranked fighter. Wilder is ranked #3 WBC and never has fought anyone in the top 50. He should be arrested for digging up graves...............

At least if he's fighting in Germany he hasn't got pressure on his shoulders like in Liverpool.i hope he turns it around and wins titles

The thing is though i think Maloney knew exactly what he had in David Price, a very explosive heavyweight puncher who was also a very flawed and fragile one too.

So he went for the path of least resistance trying to get Price to a world title shot as quickly as possible against the weakest opposition possible. He probably felt Thompson was there for the taking after his rather poor effort against Klitschko in their second meeting but it backfired on him bigtime and then again in the rematch.

Had Price won either of those fights with Thompson i have no doubt Maloney then would have done everything to make a fight with Wladimir Klitschko for the World Title and a nice big payday for everyone too.

Good move for Price! Sauerland did a good job of managing Pulev's career (though it seems they are screwing him now). They also got Boytsov pretty close to a title shot without any significant wins. Hope they help Price improve and get back to into the ring. I really wish the lad well.

I think you're dead right about the rounds. To me,Dave wasn't fighting often enough in his early career. Then I think they thought,he's 30 years old,wed better get a move on here.I was one of the people who thought he'd take Thompson, both times, but Im not an expert, and a lot of those were wrong also.Id be a bit surprised if he fought this year, but hope he does.As said,he can still be successful.
